My recent trip to Ethiopia was an experience full of colors, culture, and powerful imagery. I explored the authenticity and traditions of the country, coming into close contact with tribes rich in heritage, such as the Kara (or Karo). My photograph captures the strength and beauty of this tribe, highlighting their deep connection to body art and tradition. Through my lens, I aimed to give a voice to a culture filled with history and pride, creating an image that transports the viewer through time and place.
One of the fourth pictures that were selected and won in Great Photo Awards “Humanity World” but has been chosen as runner up by the Judging Committee.

From 12 until 18 of March.
Photographs that have a strong narrative and symbolic character. They explore themes such as freedom, transcendence, inner search and the relationship of man with his environment.

Chosen among many entries in the 1st B&W Athens Photography Festival competition in the 'n**e' category! It's an experimental photo with the pinhole technique with an improvised box I made for pinhole photography! It's a technique I really love, and I keep experimenting!
