I’m very happy to share that I am one of the shortlisted artists for FUTURES 26
(Void Photo Open Call).

The portfolio I submitted is part of Mykonos: Light of Light, a long-term project I’ve been developing over the last 10 years in Mykonos — a body of work exploring freedom, time, and transformation as lived experience. The project will be released as a photobook this summer.

The final selection of the 3 VOID talents for FUTURES 2026 will be announced early February.

THE JOURNEY CONTINUES: NEW BEGINNING

I’m thrilled to invite you to the opening of a powerful group exhibition on Odyssey: “Somewhere Called Home’.

One summer ago, I participated in , a very educational and meaningful art residency for international photographers in the island of Ithaca. I developed a personal project called “New Beginning” which is a visual monologue of Odysseus while returning home. The project, explores the ultimate return—the moment when the years of struggle and self-doubt culminate in a rebirth. It’s about reconciling the inner self with the new reality of Ithaca and finally shouting: “I am here again, alive.”

Aire Libre - Greece Running Retreat 2025 // Beyond the Assignment

I rarely share work from assignments, but there are journeys that genuinely move you—and the last week of October in the Peloponnese with .earth was one of them. It was a true celebration of life, movement, and profound human connection that I had to share.

For one full week, I had the privilege of capturing a fabulous group of runners from the US and Canada, expertly led by . We explored the beating heart of the Peloponnese, traversing ancient paths, diving into culinary delights, and deepening our internal reflection.

It was a dream to combine two of my loves: photography and running, while discovering unknown parts of my own country. A part of me is still back there: in the late-night talks, the early wake-ups, and the simple opportunity to connect with such wonderful people. Beyond the compensation, the true currency was the aura, the shared experience, and the love we exchanged. We even paused to feed the stray animals we encountered in remote places, adding another layer of heart to our journey.

Thank you, Aire Libre, Nigel, and the entire team, for reminding me why I do what I do.

My journey in photography centers entirely on the portrait. Whether for a book, project, or assignment, I use my camera as a vehicle to meet, connect with, and truly see the people around me—they are the fascination and the heart of my work. For me, the need to photograph is fundamentally the need to connect, and this process is a reflection of love.

Every session is a fresh meeting where two people gradually open up to one another. Each click of the camera is infused with my full experience and my genuine love for the person in front of the lens. These individual portraits then link together to narrate larger stories and construct the long-term projects that examine our relationships and our shared existence in time.
