If you were going through Frikes last night you may have been caught up in the excitement of a street party to celebrate the opening of Poseidon Boats (ithacaboathire) office opposite the Banker in Frikes. Food Drink, dancing in the streets. Visitors to the island, despite the occasional hold up if they were passing through with a car, just couldn't wipe the smiles off their faces. Traditional Greece with a twist of Albanian made a happy place out of this bayside village. Click the link for some pics.
