Veronika & Pavel — Rethymno, Crete.
Veronika was shy in the beginning. A little hesitant in front of the camera, almost as if she didn’t know what to do with all the attention.
And then the camera came out.
Suddenly, she wasn’t shy anymore. She moved, she smiled, she looked straight into the lens — like she had been doing it her whole life.
Some people don’t realize how beautiful they are until they see themselves through someone else’s eyes.
Veronika didn’t just look like a bride that day.
She looked like a model.
And photographing that transformation was one of my favourite parts of their wedding in Rethymno.
