The caterpillar cocoons it's old life, it surrounds itself in darkness, with a manifestation for transformation. In it's darkness, it let's go of all the things that no longer serve it and help it grow. It slowly sheds all that it once believed it was until it's unrecognisable in its original form.
Just at the point where the caterpillar believes it's life is over, metamorphosis happens and it gracefully transforms into a butterfly.
Embrace the darkness so you can enjoy the sunshine.
