Kodak Tri-X, a Yashica Zoomate point & shoot, and an afternoon at Private House, Island Resort Athens Riviera
Sometimes the simplest camera in the bag does the most honest work. This entire set was shot on 35mm Kodak Tri-X through a Yashica Zoomate, a point-and-shoot I reach for exactly when I want the day to feel unposed and a little unpredictable.
A celebration that blended traditions beautifully, sherwanis and lehengas alongside a classic Greek coastline, at one of the Athens Riviera’s most striking venues. Grain, contrast, and real moments, exactly how I like to remember a wedding day.

It’s not about the “I”, it’s about the “We”
Scroll for five minutes and it’s the same story everywhere: Everyone posing, everyone performing a life, everyone quietly competing for who looks like they’re winning. A wedding day cuts straight through that.
Because when it’s real, there’s no audience to perform for. There’s just two people who chose each other, dancing under the trees for no one but themselves, leaning in on the rocks with their eyes closed breathing each other, laughing about nothing in particular because nothing else needs to happen. No filter makes that. No luxury buys it.
A toast as the light dropped into the sea. A kiss with the whole Aegean behind them and not one thought spared for who might be watching.
That’s the part that actually matters, not the”I”, not the show, the “We.” Two people, present, together, unbothered by everything else. That’s what I show up for as a Greece wedding and elopement photographer: not the performance, the real thing underneath it.

I’ve gone back through this gallery more times than I need to. Something about this morning stuck with me —->

By the time the sun came over the ridge, they were already out on the rock —->

Sunrise on Milos is quiet in a way the island never is later in the day —->

white volcanic rock, the sea going gold, almost no one around—->

Sessions like this are why I keep setting alarms for 4am —->

It didn’t feel like a photoshoot. It felt like a morning walk that happened to be photographed —->

That’s the whole thing I’m after, and it doesn’t happen every time.

There’s a moment right after the ceremony, hands raised, bouquet in the air, both of you finally married. When everything you’ve been feeling all day just bursts out at once. That’s what I love most about documenting weddings in Greece: getting to be right there for it.
Thiswedding in Paros had everything: turquoise water, sea breeze, laughing guests, and two people who were clearly, completely happy to be starting this next chapter together. From the ceremony overlooking the beach to that spontaneous, kick-your-heel-up hug afterward, every frame felt real. No posing, no forcing it, just true love, captured as it happened.
Being trusted to tell these stories, to freeze the happiest moments of a couple’s life, never gets old. Thank you for having me there 🤍

This is for the ‘we’re so awkward in photos’.
Here’s the part nobody tells you: the ones who swear they’re bad in front of a camera almost always end up with my favourite photos.
You don’t need to pose. You don’t need to know what to do with your hands. You just need to stand next to the person you love. Laughing at how strange this feels, leaning in, forgetting I’m there for a second.
That’s the whole job. I’m not directing a fashion shoot. I’m following a real moment as it happens, and real always looks better than perfect.

End of May. Karpathos. A beach that felt like the edge of the world.

It rained. The skies turned grey and the waves got loud and their skirt turned into a sail. We kept shooting.

I think about this a lot, what it means to be a photographer in 2026, where the pressure is to make content that performs rather than images that last. Portrait mode. Vertical crops. Whatever the algorithm asks for this week.

These photos don’t follow any of that. They’re both horizontal & vertical, whatever suits the story. They’re grainy. There’s rain on the lens.

And I think they’re some of my favorites I’ve ever made.
Because this is what love actually looks like when nobody’s performing it.

Not all wedding photography is the same. And that matters more than most couples realise.
Every photographer brings a different eye, a different approach, a different way of moving through your day. Some direct every frame. Some disappear into the background. Some chase the light. Some chase the feeling. The images you end up with are a direct reflection of those choices.
Price is one factor. But it’s rarely the most important one.
When you’re choosing who will document one of the most significant days of your life, ask yourself: do their images move you? Does their way of working feel right for who you are as a couple? Can you imagine spending your wedding day with this person?
That connection matters. It shows up in the photographs.
Take your time. Look beyond the highlight reels. Find the photographer whose work feels like yours.

This is where I get to be creative.
The preparation room before a wedding is one of the most overlooked chapters of the day. Everyone is waiting for the ceremony. I’m already working.
There’s something about these in-between moments. A reflection caught sideways, a silhouette against a window, a veil draped over a chair like it belongs there, that tells more of the story than any posed portrait ever could.
This is the part of wedding photography nobody talks about. The quiet before everything begins. The nervousness that looks like stillness. The details that aren’t really details at all, they’re the whole thing, compressed into a single frame.
I shoot film and digital. These are from both. The grain isn’t a filter. The mood isn’t manufactured. This is just what the morning looked like.

As a Greece wedding & elopement photographer my eye always goes to:
Not the obvious moment.
Not the perfectly posed frame.
It’s the in-between stillness.
The way light wraps around skin at noon.
The quiet pause between conversations.
The body language when no one is “performing.”
With the 2026 wedding season starting, this is what I carry with me into every day.
Looking for the moments that don’t ask for attention, but deserve it.

These are the frames that feel honest.
Unforced. Unaware. Real.
That’s where the story lives for me, in the moments that almost go unnoticed,
but say everything.
