The guy who had a respirator system disorder for 4 years and by the grace of God was awarded the best sports man in Adisadel collage in 201. now the first KNUSt student to bring a bronze medal in 110 hurdle and takes part in more than 4 sporting disciplines.. That is a testimony i will always share to praise the name of the living God.

I was lying on the grass on campus reading a book and some young man came to talk to me, he introduced himself. Then sadly a security guard came and chased him away! He says he had to do his job and didn't want the young person to steal my belongings....I was feeling sad after that because I am sure the guy didn't have any bad intentions. He just was curious about me and wanted to chat. How it feels sometimes to be a young obruni.

When I decided to leave Europe for Africa, last November. I wasn't sure at all where my travels would guide me. Yes, there was the distant dream of making it far - surf and drive all the way to Cape Town. Now! Almost six months later. I see myself making friends in Kumasi. I rode my old 4x4 a lot further that most people had predicted and yet, it is not the end of the road. I will be leaving Kumasi soon chasing waves and adventures where ever I am guided to.

Generally, I'm sure the perception is that I am some sort of travel addict gaining some superb volunteer experience. But the truth is, what keeps me moving is an innate passion to better understand the world and the people in it. I have been able to closely work with female farmers and see the positive changes directly stemming from my work. Life in Kumasi has had its up's and down's, but it's allowed me to rediscover myself and what I want out of life. A part of my heart will always be here -- Kumasi will always be my home.
