LESSONS FROM A LIZARD

Lizards are animals that start fending for themselves once they creep out of their egg shells. They are independent and determined reptiles.

When a lizard is chased and it senses danger, it reduces it's body size by shedding it's tail to have a smaller body size which can be hidden easily. Lizards are not scared to 'downsize' to prevent death and hope for growth if need be.

They also shed their skin by time and grow through their whole lifetime unlike most animals. They allow themselves to experience new things. They don't hold on to old unproductive stuff, they change to accommodate new ways that allow for growth.

Because they are cold blooded, their day ends early, but they wake up early to bask themselves in the sun to re-energize before the day begins for most animals and people. They know their weaknesses but are not cowered by them. They work through the day, start their rest early, rise up early and prepare themselves for the new day.

We all have strengths and weaknesses; we just have to be self aware, combine them skillfully and move towards our goals. We cannot make our weaknesses limit us from making use of our abilities.
