-100 miles across Kosovo-

Most of us go through life with big dreams embedded deep in our hearts. But, how many of us actually pull the trigger on making them happen? We kid ourselves into believing there will always be more time to do these things, and before you know it, we are nearing the end of our lives. Life passes most people by while they’re making grand plans for it.

What I love about this amazing group of friends is that they just go for it. We start heading in a direction, and trust that if it’s not the right one, then God will close the door. What started off as a fun idea quickly turned into our reality. What would it look like to fully abandon control and just set out on a journey across a foreign land with nothing more than a bicycle and what we could carry on our backs?

I’ll tell you what it looks like… God comes through. Every, single, time. He lead us exactly to where we were supposed to be. A village right on the edge of the border that seems like it’s straight out of a fairytale. From Day 1, these people took us in as their own. We got to do life with them every single day, and it was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.

We left feeling more served than we had served… these people have love written all of their hearts. So many of us started out this journey on The World Race with expectations to save the world, to rescue people … the reality is… these people end up rescuing us.

Made it to Kosovo!! What an unbelievably beautiful place. From here, we are launching out to different places all over the country to wherever the Good Lord is leading us.

We are so excited for this next chapter, and all the sweet adventures that God is going to lead us on. I’m praying this is a sweet season in the wilderness. A time to deeply connect with one another, and reach people who may have never even heard God’s name spoken. A time of just forgetting we are on the world race, and stepping into a season of what it would look like if we were just 6 friends who love Jesus doing life together. Taking the pressure off, and just being open to what He has for us 🤙🏼

- STEPPING INTO PARADISE -

Bitter sweet leaving Albania today. I feel like we grew more than we could have ever imagined. As a team, and individually.
Thank God for grace, amazing experiences, incredible people, sweet ministry, and overall.. for showing us a complete hidden gem of a country.

➡️➡️➡️ SCROLL

What an epic day. We met some incredibly kind people this week… A parasailor landed right in front of us on the beach a few days ago, and after talking and sharing stories they immediately put us in contact with their great friend,

He took us up in less than a days notice and blew our minds. Dude, thank you so much for a day we won’t soon forget 🤙🏼 you’re the best

- Perfectionism -

Somewhere along the way, I have lost so much of the motivation behind photography that I used to thoroughly enjoy.

With every click of the shutter, I stop and recognize the work that will have to go into making an image the absolute best it can be. It can be overwhelming at times.

Comparison is a thief of joy. For years, I have compared different editing styles of photographers and videographers that I deeply admire to my own. Constantly trying to mimic a “look” or a “style”.
It’s an easy trap to fall into. Social media can be an incredibly useful tool, or it can become your god.

The little things and imperfections I notice in my own photographs or video work.. I highly doubt anyone else notices. We are always our own worst critique right? I’m working my way back to the simple love and joy of this art that I once had.

All the while, I’ve never stopped to realize through it all .. I have developed a style of my own. My style will change and grow overtime as I continue to learn more and more about this art form. At the end of the day, that’s all this is. An art. A way to portray the beautiful world I see to other people.

Sunset shoots with some incredible friends.
We are so blessed to be in this place. I don’t even have the words. And I don’t know what this next month holds for us here in Albania, but I have no doubt God is going to move.

I have been so behind with my photos and editing, but here’s a small photo dump from the remainder of our time in Romania 🤙🏼

God bless these sweet people and this beautiful family who took us in as their own this entire month. Raul is one of the most passionate men of God I have ever met in my life, and I have no doubt that he left a lasting impact on every single one of us.

Of all the groups of people we have visited in Romania, I think this group of kids touched our heart the most.

They live in little villages on the outside of the city with almost nothing to their name. The families are very poor, yet these were the happiest kids we have encountered this month. They make the most of what they have, and their hearts are bursting with joy. They literally sprint towards our vans with the biggest smiles on their faces when they see us pulling up.

This little girl caught my attention almost immediately. It was her eyes. It was if they could tell a whole story. There’s no telling what this sweet child has had to endure in her short life thus far, and it broke my heart.

She was so shy at first, but she opened right up to , and even let me grab this incredible picture of her right before we left.

Guys, we really don’t need much in this world. These kids have nothing but a shack and the clothes on their backs, yet their joy is contagious. What’s our excuse? I definitely have to ask myself that daily. I have everything I could ever want, yet most days I complain constantly.

As our time here in Romania is coming to an end and we embark to our next country, I can only imagine how God is going to continue to wreck our hearts. I’m excited. I’m scared. But we are committed to see this through.

A shot that I have been eyeing since we first arrived in this city last month. I was walking on my way back from ministry the other night, and finally decided to make it happen. 🤙🏼
