Film captured the feeling of this day better than my words ever could, but here we go…

Much like the venue itself, this day felt calm, relaxed, and full of joy. You could hear the birds in the morning as Amy got ready, Emily’s flowers from framed every moment so beautifully, adding colour and life to an already special day.

Family and friends enjoyed the most delicious canapés beneath the white roses surrounding the barn, and we were lucky enough to have dry weather exactly when we needed it. Then came the surprise of the fabulous singing waiters, a moment that had everyone dancing, including myself and even the Nancarrow team (I’ll definitely be sharing more of that soon).

From start to finish, this day felt so special. I hope these images have captured that feeling for A&J to look back on for years to come.

I wish it was called a get to know each other shoot 🤣🙈 because ‘engagement shoot’ to me sounds like something daunting, big and dramatic. I remember thinking to myself does this mean a proposal is about to happen… no 😊 very much the opposite it’s a gorgeous way for us to meet each other before your big day, shake off those camera shy wobbles I at this point believe we all have inside us. A huge reason I wish cameras were more fun colours imagine a candy pink camera 😍 one day surely 🙏🏼. But yes back to it these sessions are a casual walk at the beach a chance to get to know eachother and have a fun play at some poses. I love these sessions so much so absolutely had to post this gorgeous evening proving summer really is on the way.

Manifesting another wedding at this unreal location I mean what a view! It’s almost as gorgeous as these two themselves Claudia & Dan pulling off the most iconic pose I have ever seen, directed in the moment by 😍 ( first pic if it really needs explaining 😂🤩🙌🏼 just wow ) can’t wait one day to go back here.

Happy 2nd Anniversary my
Only sharing these 2 years later because well
straight after = overwhelmed
1st year anniversary = Baby therefore overwhelmed 😂
So here we are 2nd time lucky and what an amazing day and honeymoon to look back on

Captured by my camera besties & entirely on ( are we shocked Nooooo we LOVE film and boy does know it ) having such a special day captured through the eyes of your friends adds so much extra meaning to each photo • I love them all you ladies are talented beyond words and I sing your praises from the rooftops, you guys are just phenomenal the food is insane !!!! Go to a Sunday lunch if you don’t believe me 🤤😍 and ofc flowers by the fabulous who I still watch on insta religiously, her work and passion to her craft is mesmerising. And a big thankyou to who came to spend a lovely chilled morning with us doing me/my ladies hair 🎀and a delicious cake I wish was available every day made by my wonderful mother in law Margaret 🍫🎂 the thought of a white wedding cake was never going to complete with my love for a proper chocolate cake 🙌🏼
Beautiful dried flowers mixed with tissue discs made by my mum from her beautiful garden 🌸 ( top tip to any bride the larger the surface area of the confetti the slower it will fall making more impactful images )
And my dress from I knew instantly which the favourite was because well it reminded me of confetti which to this day is my favourite moment of a wedding ever 🥂

I wish we could do it all again, thankyou so so much to everyone who helped make the day so special to us. And to my bridesmaid and family/friends for helping our dream of going to Ireland come true ###

Oh and for anyone still here and reading zoom into the pasta photo, still has me speechless we cooked a whole bag of pasta for dinner one night, we drained the pasta and there was a heart shaped pasta sat at the top of the pile how mental is that 😂

Oh the love affair I have with intimate garden weddings 🥹 this wedding really does hold such a special place in my wedding photography journey, it was everything a wedding should be and more and I don’t know if you agree but film just matched this day to perfection so here’s a lovely sequence shot on the that I captured alongside my digital camera. I really encourage couples to add more film to their packages if you like what you see here 🥰 are you having a garden wedding next year ? Please tell me they are still popular and something we’ll be seeing more off 🤞🏽❤️💕🌸

Private boat trip straight after your wedding ceremony…YES PLEASE🥂☔️ even a splash of rain didn’t dampen this wonderful intimate moment, truly beautiful to witness • RAIN we love how you bring us all closer together even on a wedding day 😊 I do love the smiles and laughter it brings especially when huddling under brollys waiting to throw confetti 🌷 so British I love it 🥰

Also I must just add despite absolutely adoring what Devon and beyond has to offer, since starting our little family down here in Cornwall for the time being ( 26/27/28 ) I will only be taking Cornwall wedding bookings, the extra travel as a family is just a lot to factor in for us so we have made the sad decision but right one for us to keep it close to home xx thankyou to everyone that has enquired beyond Cornwall and who understands xx

The first wedding I ever captured at Nancarrow was for my good friends . I shot a few hours on alongside their digital gallery, and I fell completely in love with the process. That day became a turning point for me, it’s when I started offering both digital and 35mm for my couples, because the two work so beautifully together.
I also remember Saskia had candles everywhere and oh my talk about having a signature wedding scent 🕯️ even outside smelt of heaven 10/10 idea 🙌🏾
