Staying at in the desert in Morocco was a dream… unexpectedly made all the more dazzling when we stumbled across the most gorgeous horses ( 🤍) I’ve traveled far and wide and been a horse girl since forever, but never seen a palamino like him 😍😍😍

And I challenge you to find a more magical spot for a candlelit sunset dinner ✨ or cosier tents for that matter! It was ALL exquisite. 🔥

‘Shoot a wedding in Morocco all on film’ they said. ‘It’ll be amaaaaaazing’ they said. Well, ‘they’ are the chorus of wild little voices in my head and as always I can happily report that ‘they’ were absolutely flipping right. 🤭

There simply couldn’t have been a better way to capture Esther and Findlay’s wedding day at than on analogue film.

I was, in truth, rocking around with so much film and so many cameras that airport security on both sides of the ocean looked at me with absolute disgust, but it was worth it to capture E&F’s INCREDIBLE day (and all their gorgeous friends and family) in such a beautiful, timeless and REAL way - and I’m honoured (and humbled) that they picked me to be the woman for the job. 🙏🏻🔥🤍

There is a little smidge of digital for the most candid of candids and the some of the nighttime shots because I wanted to play with flash in camera and enjoy the occasional bit of instant gratification - but overall, it’s a whole wedding on film with some Fuji 100RF (thank you !) and Leica M240 thrown in for fun.

For all the sexy film geeks out there - this is a mix of 35mm film (Leica MP and Olympus Mju II) and medium format (Pentax 67 - yes I actually lugged that BEAST to Morocco) on a mix of Porta 400 and 800 and Tri X, and yes I may have looked like a pack horse and may have needed my kids to help carry it all, but I’d do it again. And again. And again. I mean - LOOK! That’s 20 frames that were so hard to choose from the hundreds I delivered that it took me like 2 weeks to unfreeze and finally share them. There’s SO many more I can safely say I’ll be sharing this wedding for evaaaaaaa 😝

I’m just sad it’s all over.. but so grateful I was there 🙏🏻✨

And lastly, a worthy and very well deserved nod to the key vendors:

Back at it with my first wedding of 2026 and it was a BEAUTY. Ashley and Michael and their tribe of gorgeous humans gathered from America, South Africa and Ireland in the absolute whimsy of Bath, on the hottest day of the year so far.. bringing the love by the bucketful. Thanks for giving me such an exquisite start to the year! 💫

Oumayma wearing and in Marrakech, 2024. How this portion of this photoshoot never made it to my grid here I’ll never know. It’s some of my favourite work..!!

All styled by me with traditional Moroccan & North African jewellery, a bridal headpiece and indugo Tuareg scarf all bought that morning in the souks. It was a real shoot from the hip, run and gun and just see what unfolds kind of morning, blending cultures, laughing, twirling and vogue-ing our way through the medina in nearly 40 degrees C, breaking only to chug down fresh juice, apply lip balm, wipe the dust off my lenses and thank all the passers by for their lovely comments.

The best sort of day, with the most wonderful woman () and the most glorious light to work with. Suffice to say, I’m up for a photoshoot in the souks anytime. 💫

In the UK it’s today, and it’s got me feeling nostalgic. 13 years ago I was a few months away from having my first baby and becoming a mum - and from discovering this instant feeling that life just began and all else before it was meaningless. For the last 13 years my life has been a real journey of very low moments and very high moments, but the real consistent glorious ray of sunshine literally shining in on me every day no matter how dark everything else was, was these two. They gave my life meaning beyond what I ever could have imagined. I remember the night Clara was born, the absolute shock as she was passed to me and realising nothing and no one on earth could have prepared me for that feeling, and that nothing - not even winning a billion pounds - could ever match that feeling. As she was born, so was I. And they’ve been my reason to stay alive, get up every time life knocked me down, smile, and be the best version of myself I could be, every day since.

They were also my reason for ever falling into photography. It was a combo of 1. Being someone who’d ALWAYS loved cinema and storytelling and photography… I actually really wanted to be a film director and make films (and still do!) 2. NEEDING to do something as I was newly divorced, financially at zero and tbh just lucky to be alive after nearly ten years of DV. And 3. Having these incredible muses to look at day and night, to inspire me and encourage me and who’s every move was one I wanted to document and to bare witness to - to have a record of how it all felt to then show someone one day. Maybe one day I can share those memories with someone who loves us, and who’ll wish they’d been there, but who can see those photos that I took in that moment and feel it. All I ever really wanted was to share that love and awe, it was too much for me to hold alone. In some ways, photography in my single mum life, and in my phoenix moments of being birthed from the ashes, helped me feel less alone - like I could feel the eyes of those I’ve not yet met were looking through my lens with me.. time travelers.. so I had to do the moments justice.. quite magical really! Poetic even. ❤️‍🔥

I don’t only do weddings. I LOVE the human form. From as young a I can remember, my sketchbooks were full of n**e women pulled from the depths of my imagination. Today, a lot of my brides get their bo***ir on with me on their wedding mornings, I just can’t always share it on here. I even had one once who brought a Polaroid camera and we handed the groom naughty n**e pics at random moments throughout the day, which was pretty fun..!! But these two absolute GODDESSES got naked under the waterfall for me a few years back and it’s still some of my favourite work - not just because of how free spirited and artistic it was, but because there’s really truly something so incredible for me as an artist, to facilitate a space and an energy for women to unfold for me. That facilitation of a safe space to be your fullest truest self is integral to my work, but it’s never more evident than during a bo***ir shoot. It really is like watching a rose bloom. The gentle and gradual awakening, ending with full empowerment and tears of wonder. It’s cathartic. It’s healing. The mixture of absolute vulnerability evolving into absolute self acceptance and love - and reverence. You all - WE all - deserve to be seen and adored for every perfect imperfection and LOVED, ADORED, WORSHIPPED even. The whole ‘you’re a queen, you’re a goddess, you’re divine’ thing can sound so cliché when thrown around without connecting to what those words mean, but in their essence, it’s SO true. And WOW do I love being the one to capture the magic when you realise it.

If anyone wants to get naked with me let me know. Especially if you’ll let me share some pics, but even if you won’t. I’m way overdue a bo***ir-for-bo***ir’s-sake sort of shoot and I’m craving having ART like this to look forward to! Dm me if you’re keen! Oh and yes I’ll also happily shoot couples of any/every gender, of course!!! And I have a new medium format film camera to play with now too which is exciting!

(P.S the film pics I’ve shown here are a bit sketchy, purely because that roll of film ended up in the sea before it was developed… oops!)

An ode to the long lost festival bride trend of 2022. Waiting patiently for flower crowns, glitter and hay bales to swing back around - with golden sunsets, tipis and smores over the fire pit please. 💫 Orrrrr, even better, let’s elope with all those details, eat all the smores ourselves, and find a mountain in Italy to say your vows on!!

(Maybe I’d better go satiate my sweet tooth and stop fantasising about toasted marshmallows lol.)

For now I’m actually very happy with the vogue editorial vibes of pearls, dropwaist dresses, lace veils and understated old money vintage glam. If only it also had toasty sweet treats…

Are you, like me, having your morning coffee right now and daydreaming about those perfectly imperfect wedding moments? 😍😍😍 check these out..! I’ve got a real thing for simple, sweet and deeply beautiful city weddings. The space they often have to have a little photo walk where I can effortlessly hone in on the connection and the emotion without any distraction or a pressing timeline is so freeing and SO fun! (I also became a bit shoe obsessed at this one haha but come on, can you blame me?!) The magic we captured in just 4 hours together on this particular day was astounding, included the exquisite candlelit ceremony, group shots, confetti, a bit of the reception, a cinematic wander through Bristol, and we even hand time to find a quiet little street round the corner away from the eyes of the adoring guests to include a gorgeous little secret bump in their wedding portraits. A perfect afternoon for sure 💫

That time we went on a horse drawn carriage ride through a private estate (and the literal setting of Sense & Sensibility (the one with Kate Winslet and Alan Rickman))after their wedding ceremony. It might’ve poured down, but it was heavenly. Cinematic. Magical. Romantic. Perfect!!! 💫 I personally am quite the fan of the rainy perfectly imperfect ‘straight from a romantic movie’ kind of wedding day - so my heart couldn’t have been happier with this one!!
And if you scroll through to the last pic, of everyone in the sun on the wedding morning, those of you with eagle eyes will spy THREE of my brides in that one pic. I love when that happens - wedding guests booking me for their own wedding after seeing me hard at work in real life. I think my grand total ‘run’ on this is 5 now, but always happy to add to set a new record 😆🤍🥂🙌🏼😘
