I'd say it was an under-promoted gig (didn't show on Crescent advert as it was a last minutes gig ) but I was one of the lucky audience to be there. It was a lovely gig, I did feel I was sharing the good time with people who were there on the night. As per the photos, well, I've tried RAW photos so I had to adjust them. Quite liked some photos to be Black and White but I wanted to keep some photos in colour, so it may look rather odd mixture but here you are!

3rd year anniversary of Robert's life and it was a great success indeed! Great venue, food and music with my fantastic friends and family.

We spent the afternoon working on Faure's Requiem and we let people come in to listen to our end result!! This set of photos end with our coffee break before the performance as I was also playing. It was A*O's first event to play with choir and what an experience! I think we sounded fabulous too, shame I didn't set a video to record....

I have a good friend who is a very talented artist. Sue Holliday lives next door to me and she told me that she was having her exhibition preview evening on 28th August so I thought I’d capture the evening for her. The exhibition is currently on and lasting for the whole September so if you are around Colliergate please do pop in to this lovely gallery (near Barnitts). Her exhibition is upstairs and is free to look around.

I'm not in this album as I was taking these photos but it was another enjoyable All Seasons Orchestra - York Musical Tea Party this summer. Our cello section played ensemble but again I couldn't take any photo of us. I need to find a way to play and take some photos at the same time! Some family and friends came to watch us and I took some shots of them too but I forgot to ask them if their kids were ok to be on this album so I've taken them out. I'll add them once I get their permission.

My friend Alastair Hamilton messaged me "Just wondering whether you happen to be around for this gig? It's my son's band playing (Neon Salmon) and I'm sure they'd appreciate some good picks if you are interested". I had to make an excuse in advance for my possibly not as "good pics" but I was interested so I went out despite it was on Tuesday! They were very good and there was one proud father amongst the crowd, understandably so :-)

Band Joe Below's Gareth messaged me saying he and Bruce were going to see Miles Gilderdale and The Blueflies at Victoria Vaults Venue so I joined them, "just in case" with my camera. I had a lovely surprise to see my friend Linda who I haven't seen for ages! She said she's been following the band for a long time. The band was great and I may visit them (and I may see her again :-) )

My friend Tiz Suz who runs TizYorkMuzic (https://tizyorkmuzic.com) combined her birthday do with Audiosouls's gig at Black Horse. I was undecided whether I take my camera with anticipation that I could be a long night drinking but really glad I took it to capture the happy occasion. Audiosouls was brilliant, a great night indeed.
