Great feature in The York Press about how York Fashion Week has adapted to the current situation. A rare glimpse of me on the other side of the camera!! With Nicky Hayer and Mark Bewick from NIMA The YFW website has switched from an events schedule into a brilliant directory showcasing how you can access and support the businesses involved.

It is so surreal to not be running around York camera in hand covering all of the events of which should have kicked off yesterday. Team morale is strong though and things are very much postponed rather than cancelled! In the mean time, the brilliant YFW team and NIMA have transformed the website into a directory to give much needed support to lots of the businesses who are desperately trying to keep going in these challenging times. (myself included!!) From creatives, retailers, venues, food establishments - they all need support more than ever ###

COVID-19 UPDATE

Due to the circumstances surrounding Coronavirus, York Fashion Week 2020 was of course postponed, with our events to be rescheduled once we are safely able to do so. York Fashion Week has become York Fashion Season!

In the meantime we NEED to support our local businesses, which is why we're focussing our attentions on the brands and creatives who can still be safely accessed. These people have worked so hard on their businesses and are now fighting to keep them alive.

It's time to use our network to spread the word about their offering, show our support and pull each other through these tough few months ahead.

I loved this commission! This was a busy 2 day shoot working with the brilliant team at York Mansion House to create an image portfolio for branding and marketing. People, interiors, artefacts and food all featured. I always enjoy this kind of mixed genre commission where I have to think on my feet to respond to different subjects and lighting set ups. I absolutely loved this heritage photography commission for York Mansion House.  Two days packed of photography to capture interiors, artefacts and documentary people images to showcase the visitor experience. In a nutshell, my brief was to create a portfolio of images to be used for venue branding...

So thrilled to now be able to share images from a shoot commission to mark a new collaboration between York Fashion Week and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Leeds. The shoot took place during York Fashion Week back in March and images have been top secret until an exclusive launch event organised by NIMA last week at Mansion House.
