How exciting that my York Photo Walks have been featured in a recent article “Life through a Lens” in Yorkshire Post Magazine at the weekend. I am thrilled to be featured and thanks so much to Louisa Gregson for the great article and Simon Hulme for the amazing photos, funny being on the other side of the camera for a change.

Just before Christmas I am delighted to say that I won in the Yorkshire Prestige Awards for Wedding Photography 23/24. I know kept that one quiet, so it’ll be full steam ahead now for 2024.

I am really honoured to have been successful, such a lovely start to the New Year. Thank you too all my amazing clients that have brought me such joy and fun last year, I am so lucky to love what I do for a living.

Clients always ask me what shots will I get from my branding shoot?

The first thing we need to ask is where are these images going to appear? Are they for social media, your website? A brochure perhaps? Do you need to add graphics to them. So we discuss all of these things beforehand and then we make a list of KEY shots that we must get on the day. A selection of close ups , long shots with lots of background. Shots with space for your graphics and message.
What a privilege to work with Louise from derma.microtech on this brand shoot, showing her clients all about scalp micro pigmentation which helps all sorts of people with various types of hair loss.

Really excited to share my side hustle project York Photo Walks is in The Press today. It starts on Friday 10:00am from York Art Gallery. Its long been a mission to get York Photo Walks off the ground, sharing tips and tricks for taking better photos whilst having a lovely stroll around some of York’s famous landmarks. I am so excited about this, thanks too Nadia Jefferson-Brown, The Press in York, Louise Saw City of York Council, and PJ Edgar Visit York for all your help 😀
