Race the Waves 2026 after movie teaser!

Maybe a little ‘OTT’ but I felt an epic weekend required a little bit of epic for the trailer!

14/09/2026

What a weekend!! Covering the full Race the Waves event with the most kit on a job to date!

Special shout out to Paul Garbutt for bringing such an amazing event to Bridlington yet again. The staff, the pilots, the traders, all fantastic! There was such a buzz all weekend!!

Now it’s into the studio to work through the hours of footage and get creative!!

Last week I started a very exciting project filming with the team at ‘The Vulcan Experience’

The project itself breaks down into 3 main areas…

1. A promo edit to showcase what The Vulcan Experience is and what you can expect as a visitor.

2. Content that lets you peek behind the curtain and see all that is involved with with keeping this Cold War aircraft alive.

3. 360 degree VR content putting you in the pilot seat during an engine run. This will be used to form parts of STEM projects within schools. It also serves to bring the cockpit experience to those people that may not be able access the tight spaces.

With only one day spent on site so far it showed me the potential and versatility of what can be captured in a relatively short space of time and how it can be used in so many different areas.

The mighty Vulcan!

I spent the day filming with The Vulcan Experience documenting all there is to see, and of course hear, on one of their engine run days.

Great to capture all the elements of a thrilling experience including time spent inside the cockpit during an engine run!

Dancing, Dining & Daring Disguise… it’s the York Georgian Ball at the Grand Assembly Rooms!

A magnificent event and a pleasure to capture, so many photogenic outfits in one place!!

Vulcan Filming day! 😮

I remember seeing this beast at airshows as a kid, what an incredible sight and sound it used to be!

Shame she doesn’t fly anymore but you can still go and hear that iconic howl at The Vulcan Experience!

A pleasure to meet Stanley Youngman, a talented puppeteer and busker in Kings Square, York today.

You’ll spot Stanley performing various acts around the city of York and Yorkshire.
