Just a little update regarding weekend bookings 🤍
Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who continues to support my little business. I never take for granted that you choose me to capture such special moments for your families.
As many of you know, I'm a single mum to my wonderful 8-year-old daughter. Between school runs, editing, admin, enquiries, sessions, and all the day-to-day chaos that comes with both motherhood and running a business, weekdays are pretty full on!
For a long time, I've happily offered the occasional Saturday or Sunday morning session for families who genuinely couldn't make a weekday appointment work. Recently though, I've noticed more and more requests coming through for weekends, and I've realised I need to be a little more protective of the time I have with my daughter while she's still little as we do like to go off on adventures on our weekends together, so I have to work around bookings.
With that in mind, weekend sessions will now carry an additional fee on top of my standard package pricing.
I hope you can understand that this isn't about charging more for the sake of it, but simply placing value on the limited family time I have available outside of work.
To help accommodate busy family schedules, I do offer a variety of weekday options, including early evening appointments during term time and sessions throughout school holidays and half terms, which can often work really well for those who can't manage daytime weekday appointments.
As always, I'll do my very best to be as flexible as possible and find a time that works for everyone.
