Here you have the Nun's Cross Farm in Dartmoor, UK. An old structure, built in the open fields of the national park. I wonder how was to live the simple life here? This wasn't a planed shoot. I was just coming back from Nuns Cross Farm Dartmoor after nearly 2 hours spent outside in the cold weather. My feet got almost warm enough while driving, when I saw a pink light reflecting in the clouds in front of me and made me think about a great sunset happening in my back. And exactly that was the case. I started getting nervous because it was such an intense atmosphere and I was going to lose it. So luckly enough I found a parking area and stopped. As you can see, the road is so near from my shooting spot, cuz I was on a big rush and didn't want to lose the hole thing, which it happened after a few minutes when I tried a panorama, all the great light was gone. This is by far the greatest landscape photo, it lacks a few crucial elements, but damn, I didn't want to miss that sunset! If you like my work feel free to like, share or follow. © Mihai Penghios

Black and white images always seem to bring out a more dramatic side to a scene. Where colours might distract our attention, a black and white image makes an impact that cannot be denied. These photos from the GuruShots “Black and White Outdoors” Challenge are a perfect example of that.

If you're traveling to Thessaloniki between 1-4 of December maybe you can visit Art-Thessaloniki International Contemporary Art Fair to see some great photographs and mine among them. Exhibited only digital for this occasion, but it's there :). It's not like winning an award but still a great honour for me to have a photograph among only 350 chosen from more then 20k photos.

Like an old Romanian word says "on a weather like this you can only count money or make babies", I was doing neither. Instead I was outside circling for a good spot. After a couple of hours and two wet feet I managed to find this one ten minutes after the rain stopped, just before sunset. The cliffs in front are of a dark red / brown colour and were formed 240 million ago, Sidmouth being part of the UK's Jurassic Coast. "Angels Highway" | Located on top of the Rame Head cliff in Cornwall, UK, this 14th century chapel is dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel. I wanted to compose it like this so I can use the Milky Way to create a connection between the chapel and the world from above.
