36+ years of service, countless memories, and a career that’s made a real difference to so many people.

Andy, it’s been a privilege to capture some of your journey over the last four years not just as a firefighter, but as a two-time Mayor of Wrexham, fundraiser, Blood Bike rider and, most importantly, a good friend.

You’re hanging up the helmet and bunker jacket… sort of!
Here’s to the next chapter as Watch Manager, leading the RDS crew at Wrexham Fire Station.

Today was one of those days where I got to combine two things I love: photography and supporting the fire service. 📸 🚒
We headed over to Bala to spend some time with the NWFRS Bala RDS Crew, documenting their charity car wash as they got stuck in to raise funds for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Plenty of soap and sponges, hoses (behave) lol, water and very shiny vehicles (but no topless firefighters getting all soapy, SORRY LADIES AND LADS). Just some amazing people helping out their community by giving up their time to support a great cause. Fire Fighters Charity

It was a pleasure to be there with the camera, capturing the people, the work and all the little moments that make days like this what they are. Always happy to point the camera at something that makes a difference. 📸 🔥

Today I got to spend the day with Green Watch and the wider fire family at Wrexham Fire Station, capturing Andy Williams’ last day… well, kind of!

After 37 years of service, Andy is officially retiring, and I was lucky enough to be there with my camera to capture the moments, the laughs, the madness, and everything in between.

Honestly, without Andy and all the crews and fire family at Wrexham Station, I’d never have been able to capture half of the cool stuff I got to see and experience today.

It wasn’t just about photographing Andy’s last day it was about capturing the people, the friendships, the memories and the little moments that make the fire family what it is.

It was a real privilege to spend the day with you all. ❤️ 🚒 📸

A great afternoon at Wrexham – Your Library
I had the pleasure of attending the Wrexham Your Library event and working with the fantastic Wrexham All Voices Choir to photograph their performance.

It was brilliant to see the choir bring the event to life, and I loved capturing those moments from behind the camera. 📸
There was a great mix of music, storytelling, local history and community throughout the afternoon definitely one of those events that reminds you how much goes on right here in Wrexham.

Big thanks to Wrexham All Voices Choir for having me along to capture it.

After the summer we’ve had, with firefighters across the UK dealing with wildfire after wildfire, the demands on our fire and rescue services have been enormous. These men and women don’t just turn up when the siren sounds. There’s preparation, maintenance, training, teamwork and countless hours behind the scenes that most of us never see. So, wherever you are in the UK, take a minute today to say thank you to our firefighters.

Thank you for protecting our communities. And thank you for everything you do before, during and after the shout.

Honestly, what a moment.

Today, Wrexham’s bid for UK City of Culture 2029 went in. I’ve had the privilege of being part of the marketing story behind it, and watching it come together has been one of the best things I’ve worked on.

This bid was never going to be just paperwork. It’s built from years of people showing up for this town: the artists, the community groups, the volunteers, the small businesses, all of it. Every conversation, every idea, every late night pulling it together, it all led to this.

Wrexham already has something special. This bid is proof of it, and a chance to show the rest of the UK what we’ve known all along.

The bid is in. Now we wait, and hope, and see where play takes us 🤞.
