Worth the late night last night. Beautiful sunset in Dinas Brân with an Aurora weather warning it was too good an opportunity to miss. The Aurora was taken looking up to the Horseshoe pass just after midnight.

Work is continuing on repairs to the Aqueduct, only about 6 inches left to pump out. Surprisingly deep as can be seen here. Also note the width of the metalwork underneath the pathway. Incredible structure considering its age.

Wonderful to get out in the fresh air this morning, especially after working in a very hot environment. I say “Fresh” it was actually frozen hard with an icy blast at the top of Dinas Brân, enough to make your eyes water as you faced the wind, but it didn’t matter and added to the experience. Life has got in the way of getting out with the camera recently but I hope to be doing lots more in the coming months.
