Some weddings just leave you smiling all the way home… and Jess & James’ day at Merrydale Manor was definitely one of them.

A Wirral-based couple brought together by a shared love of Tranmere Rovers and a workplace romance that turned into something very special. From the moment we met for their pre-wedding shoot last year, it was clear just how kind, thoughtful and genuinely lovely they both are.

Their wedding day was packed with laughter, emotion, incredible sunshine and, quite possibly, a Merrydale Manor record for smoke flares! I think we got through around 50 flares across the day, creating some epic images alongside those beautiful golden-hour portraits and that stunning sunset beneath the gazebo.

One of my favourite things about photographing weddings is seeing how effortlessly a couple fit together, and Jess & James were exactly that. Relaxed, completely themselves and surrounded by family and friends who clearly adore them.

A huge thank you for trusting me to capture such an important chapter of your story. It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish 🫶🏻

Lauren & Jack! 🥂

Last Friday I joined Lauren & Jack at beautiful Rookery Hall for a day that was full of sunshine, laughter and so many personal touches.

As a wedding make-up artist, Lauren spends her weekends helping other brides look and feel incredible on their wedding day. So being trusted to photograph her own wedding felt particularly special - thank you! 🙏🏻😌

From a relaxed morning getting ready, to a gorgeous outdoor ceremony with the wonderful Your Ceremony team, everything felt effortless and full of joy. The boys looked incredibly smart in black tuxedos, Lauren looked stunning, and there was one clear star of the show…

🐾 Ivy the black Labrador, who proudly walked down the aisle alongside little Freddie and instantly won over every guest in attendance.

As the sun began to set, we escaped into the woodland for some beautiful golden hour portraits before everyone headed inside for an incredible evening with Hustle Band keeping the dancefloor packed.

A truly lovely day for a fantastic couple.

What a way to start the bank holiday week!

On the hottest day of the year, Charlotte & Louie gathered family and friends at the beautiful Tyn Dŵr Hall for an unforgettable outdoor ceremony in the North Wales sunshine.

Although they travelled from Essex for their wedding day, North East Wales has always held a special place in their hearts through Louie’s family, making Tyn Dŵr Hall the perfect place to celebrate.

From the incredible ceremony setting and stunning views across the Welsh countryside to a beautiful summer evening under clear skies, every part of the day felt magical.

Most of all though, Charlotte & Louie were simply lovely to be around. Warm, relaxed and completely focused on enjoying every moment together with the people they love most.

A wonderful wedding at one of my favourite North Wales wedding venues . ❤️

What a day this was.

From the moment I arrived at Delamere Manor, we genuinely didn’t stop laughing. The sunshine showed up, the outdoor ceremony looked incredible, the confetti was flying, and we finished the day with the most beautiful golden hour light across the grounds.

More than anything though, it’s the people that make a wedding memorable. Alex & Steve were an absolute joy to spend the day with — relaxed, fun, kind and completely wrapped up in every moment together.

Days like this are exactly why I love being a Cheshire and North Wales wedding photographer. Thank you both for having me along to capture it all. ❤️

A gorgeous day at Thornton Hall this week celebrating Holly & Brad 🤍

From an outdoor ceremony in the sunshine to a golden hour that seemed to last forever, this wedding had such a relaxed, happy atmosphere from start to finish. The gardens at Thornton Hall looked incredible in the evening light and gave us the perfect backdrop for some beautiful portraits as the sun began to set.

One of the nicest parts of the day for me was seeing a familiar family again. I had the pleasure of photographing Holly’s sister Kayleigh’s wedding back in 2023, so it was lovely to be invited back and catch up with so many familiar faces.

Holly & Brad, thank you for having me along to capture your day. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness, laughter and adventures together. ✨

A Saturday full of sunshine, countryside air, alpacas… and two people who were just completely meant for each other 🦙✨

Gemma & Miles tied the knot last weekend in the beautiful Coach House at Soughton Hall and honestly, the whole day felt so relaxed, joyful and “them” from start to finish.

As keen walkers and lovers of the outdoors, Soughton was the perfect setting for their day — from the gorgeous grounds and summer light, through to one of those dreamy golden hour sunsets photographers quietly pray for ☀️

And yes… the alpacas were every bit as brilliant as you’d imagine (especially for Gemma 🫶). Add in incredible food, an evening BBQ with guests enjoying the warm evening air, and such a lovely atmosphere all day long, and it really was a pleasure to capture.
