Slow March morning 🌱

Just a quiet walk in the countryside. Winter’s still lingering a little, but you can feel spring slowly on its way. The light’s softer, the air feels different, and everything’s starting to wake up.

Taking it slow and saying a gentle goodbye to winter.

Welcoming March, one countryside walk at a time. 🍃

We started the month with a long walk in the country, and spring definitely feels like it’s on its way. It was warmer, no rain for once, and it felt so good to be outside and present for a few hours.

How did you spend the first day of March? 🌼

Wandering though North Yorkshire ✨

About two summers ago, I had one of my most memorable birthday trips exploring North Yorkshire🌿. I fell in love with the beauty of Knaresborough, the charming fishing village of Staithes, and the historic seaside town of Whitby. Walking along the rugged cliffs of Robin Hood’s Bay, hiking in the North York Moors National Park, and wandering the nostalgic village of Goathland felt like stepping into another world.

North Yorkshire is one of the most magical places in England, full of history, breathtaking nature, and little hidden gems around every corner.

If you’re looking for places to visit in England, this area of the English countryside should definitely be at the top of your list.

Country winter walk in Wales 🌿✨

Living in Chester means we can visit North Wales as often as we like! Last weekend, we spent our Sunday exploring the area of Moel Famau, just a short 30minute drive from Chester.
It was the perfect spot for a country walk to reconnect with nature. I loved the fresh air and those incredible views at the top, definitely a lovely, quiet spot to explore.

Have you been to Moel Famau before? Or do you have a favourite country walk in the North of England? I’d love to hear your recommendations! 💛

A year in the UK, one month at a time 🇬🇧

From peaceful rural landscapes to scenic dog walks and hidden gems across Britain, every season brings something new to explore.

Which month in the UK is your favourite to travel, and where are you exploring next?

Can you believe it? 🌱✨

In just 8 weeks, Spring will begin. That means it’s almost time for the entire country to burst into a riot of flowers! I’m starting to spot the first daffodils, snowdrops peeking through frosty gardens, and crocuses carpeting parks with splashes of purple and yellow.

Honestly, there’s something magical about seeing these little burst of colour after the long winter. It feels like te world is waking up all over again. 🌸

Who else is ready to chase the first blooms of spring with me?

Nothing Outside London?

I used to think London was the centre of the country and the main attraction… until I started living in the countryside and exploring the UK. From the south to the north, east to west, there’s so much beauty waiting just a train ride away.

Swipe through to discover some of my favourite hidden gems across the UK:
Snowdonia, Staithes, Glen Coe, Mildale, Thornton, Powis, Llangollen, Knaresborough, Wye Valley, and Stratford-upon-Avon.

I’m curious, which of these spots have you visited, or which one would you love to explore next?
