Some frames from a wonderful (and extremely early) shoot on Sunday morning.

We met at Hayling Island at 5.30am in the hope of catching a gorgeous soft sunrise. The only sun I actually saw was driving over the bridge; by the time we started, it had disappeared behind clouds.

In the two hours we were shooting, the light changed from a beautiful, dreamy and diffused one to a dark and impending storm. The sky turned a deep, inky indigo, casting heavy, dramatic shadows across the waves and coastline. (Swipe to last slide to see the dramatic colour difference)

Fortunately the clouds moved on as quickly as they’d arrived and we managed to stay dry!

I cannot believe it’s been almost a year since these two wonderful people had their British wedding.

Manon & James had their ceremony at Horsham registry office followed by a reception at the beautiful near Washington.
We also made a little detour to Maccy D’s en route which prompted cheers from everyone who was there.

Two trips to Morocco. Six months apart.

The first gave me windy beaches and gallops along the Atlantic coast.

The second brought heat, river rides and argan trees full of fruit.

It’s amazing how the same place can give you a completely different set of photographs depending on the season.

After a work trip and a couple of days off, I’m now back at my desk editing again. Finishing a wedding gallery before I properly tackle all the Morocco content.

My editing will be fuelled by water and coffee rather than champagne though!
