Closing a chapter 🤍
I’ve made the decision to step away from photography and the business for now.
With working 25 hours a week, raising two young children, and life moving at full speed, I just don’t have the time to give this business the love, energy, and consistency it truly deserves. You may have noticed I haven’t been as present or active, and that’s simply because I haven’t been able to fully commit in the way I’d want to.
I’m so grateful that my job still allows me to be out and about with a camera in hand, but when it comes to running the business itself, the marketing, the posting, the behind-the-scenes, I’ve found myself stretched too thin. As much as there are projects I’d love to say yes to, right now I just can’t give them what they need.
This decision has also been shaped by the recent passing of my dad, who was not only an incredible photographer but my biggest inspiration behind starting this journey. If I’m honest, I’ve lost a little bit of the excitement and spark that once drove it, and I think it’s important to listen to that.
This isn’t goodbye forever I truly believe I’ll come back to this one day when the time feels right again. But for now, it’s a pause.
