Six guests. Four hours. Two newlyweds. One very handsome dog 🐾

A quiet afternoon tucked inside the most beautiful garden, where the simplest of days often leave the most room for what matters.

Laura and Joe wanted a relaxed, intimate celebration with the people they love most, before disappearing off to Greece for round two this weekend.

And this day was a lovely reminder that it was never really about how many people are there.

Just who is.

Laura and Joe ♥️

Thank you for trusting me with your story.

The one with the chicken called Sheila 🐓

Ellie and Loz wanted a wedding that felt relaxed, joyful and full of their favourite people.

A wedding where guests spilled out into the sunshine, food trucks kept everyone fed, champagne was sprayed, poured into towers and consumed enthusiastically - and nobody wanted the day to end.

And that’s exactly what happened.

There were seven speeches on the day. Every one honest. Every one emotional. Every one capable of making a room full of people reach for tissues (especially the groomsmen). And despite being told by different people, they all seemed to land on the same theme:

What incredible friends Ellie and Loz are.

Not just to each other, but to everyone lucky enough to know them.

It was woven through every part of the day. The way people spoke about them. The way they showed up for their guests. The feeling of warmth that followed them everywhere.

The kind of friendships that make you wish you could quietly join the circle and never leave.

And then, of course, there was Sheila.

A fluffy white chicken roaming the grounds with her entourage, completely unbothered by the day’s events.

Ellie was determined to find her.

After a brief game of hide and seek, Sheila was located and stepped effortlessly into her bridal moment alongside Ellie, both looking equally fabulous in white 🤍

From beginning to end, this day felt exactly like the people at the centre of it: kind, welcoming and overflowing with joy. The sort of people who make everywhere feel a little bit like home.

Ellie and Loz, I feel so honoured to have been welcomed into your circle for your best day ever. Thank you forever for your trust

10/10. No notes. 📝

Those were the words I found myself saying all day.

When Alice and Matt got married at the ever gorgeous Norwood Park, every detail had been lovingly considered, every moment seemed to unfold effortlessly, and everything simply felt… right. The sunshine, the flowers, the incredible dress, the tuxedos, the metre-long cake glowing with candles, the snowstorm of confetti, the brass band that somehow melted seamlessly into the evening party band, and a dance floor that refused to quit.

But as beautiful as the day was, what stayed with me most was simply; Alice and Matt.

They spent the entire day side by side. Not because they had to, but because they just seem to operate on the same frequency. The easiest connection. The clearest friendship. The kind of love that flows naturally between two people and spills over onto everyone lucky enough to be around them.

Their gravitational pull is towards each other.

Their energy naturally flows together.

And honestly, it wasn’t a force field I wanted to step out of when it was time to go home.

Surrounded by adoring family, friends who brought the energy from start to finish, and so much open-hearted joy, their wedding felt like a celebration of everything they value most - love, laughter, connection, and sharing it all with the people who matter.

A truly beautiful day for two of the loveliest humans you could ever hope to meet. Alice and Matt, I couldn’t love you more - thank you forever for your trust.

The most-used word of the day? Happily. 💛

“Kiss your wife?” Happily.

“Come and dance in the golden hour?” Happily.

“Spend the day surrounded by everyone we love?” Happily.

At Norwood Park, Alex and Harrison celebrated in a way that felt completely true to them - relaxed, joyful, and full of the people who matter most.

With Norwood Park in full bloom, an alfresco ceremony beneath the summer sky, and the most beautiful light stretching across the lake, the whole day seemed to unfold with effortless ease. Alex looked incredible in her floaty floral gown, Harrison every bit as dashing in a jet-black tuxedo, and together they brought that rare kind of energy that’s impossible not to be drawn towards.

One of my favourite moments came when they stepped away from it all for a few minutes, standing together by the lake and watching their wedding day unfold before them. Family, friends, laughter, conversations, sunshine - all the people they love gathered in one place, sharing in something so special. And of course, then there was the golden hour… ooooooft. Happily dancing in the golden glow… my heart is full 💛

From Glen’s effortlessly cool soundtrack to the laughter that carried through every part of the day, this was a wedding filled with warmth, connection, and so much joy.

A day spent celebrating love, family, and each other.

Happily 💛

Alex and Harrison, thank you forever for your trust

Sunshine, soft pastels and happy tears 🩵

On the sunniest Friday at Hazel Gap Barn, Sarah and Tom brought together everything you want a Spring wedding to feel like - romantic, relaxed, full of sunshine and all the people they love most.

Every detail felt elegant in the most natural, effortless way. Delicate coral peonies, tiny daisies, bridesmaids dressed as Sarah’s “something blue”. Sarah’s floral-inspired dress felt as though it had been made perfectly for this soft Spring day, alongside dapper black tie tuxedos and gorgeous guests dressed in pastel tones.

But more than anything, this day was about connection. So many tears, so much laughter, and a room full of people who adore these two beyond words. The gentlest, warmest couple - completely wrapped up in each other, and so excited to celebrate surrounded by their nearest and dearest.

Then as the evening light softened, we stole away for a private cake cut in the garden before the party truly began. These moments with just these two are maybe my favourite of the day: a beautiful cake, soft light, sounds of their loved ones spilling out into the garden, taking time to share this ritual privately, making memories to last a lifetime.

A beautiful day, full of heart, tenderness, and the kind of love that feels easy in the very best way. Sarah and Tom, I’ll be forever grateful for your trust, it was a joy to capture your story with you both.

Poetry, pearls, and a love story years in the making 🦪

On Saturday, Megan and Lorna created a wedding day that felt entirely, unapologetically them - layered with meaning, personality, and quiet nods to the stories and voices that came before them.

The ever gorgeous industrial brick walls of The West Mill, provided the perfect backdrop, softened by oyster shells and pearls. Feminist and q***r literature was woven into the seating plan, the florals carried the colours of the Le***an flag. Handcrafted details were everywhere you looked, each one thoughtful, intentional, and deeply personal - every part of the day carrying their fingerprints.

But underneath all the beauty was something even more powerful: the significance of standing here together at all. A q***r couple celebrating openly, joyfully, surrounded by friends and family who had travelled from all over the world to witness and celebrate with them.

Elegant and timeless by day, then louder and rock’n’roll by night - the kind of wedding where the schedule barely mattered because the feeling of it carried everything.

Six years of love, history, creativity, tenderness, and finding home in each other - reaching a crescendo in their incredible day. And yet, this is merely the beginning of another beautiful chapter together.

Megan and Lorna, thank you for trusting me with your story

Soft blush tones, candlelight romance, and a love story ten years in the making 🤍

Maddie and Luke said their ‘I Do’s’ on Friday at the stunning Davenport House. Every part of their day felt timeless - inspired by the elegance of the grand Georgian setting and filled with beautifully considered details that reflected them so perfectly. Traditional, romantic, and quietly magical from beginning to end.

Maddie’s bridal style will live rent free in my heart forever - effortlessly elegant with the most meaningful finishing touch: a headpiece once worn by her Mum on her own wedding day thirty years ago. Alongside Luke in a classic black tie tux, they looked every bit the part of a love story written to stand the test of time.

But beyond the beauty of the day itself was something even more special - the feeling of it. A celebration of ten years together, surrounded by the people who matter most. Family woven into every moment, heartfelt embraces, shared stories, and so much warmth from two people who make everyone around them feel instantly welcome.

The whole day seemed to glow with that rare kind of romance that feels both deeply personal and impossibly cinematic all at once.

Maddie and Luke, your story is the most beautiful celebration of love, history, and the wonderful moments and details that matter. Thank you forever for your trust, it was such a joy to capture your day with you both.

Sun-soaked, joy-filled, and deeply, deeply loved 💫

On Friday, Chloe and Alexander got married, on a day that felt like sunshine from start to finish.

My first visit to Tissington Hall, where history and heart came together in the most beautiful way - a setting as timeless as the love it held. With a Royal Navy groom, the most elegant and effortlessly beautiful bride, and a veil that seemed to float endlessly behind Chloe, every detail felt classic, refined, and deeply intentional.

But what made this day truly special was the love woven through it. Florals created by Alexander’s nan and green-fingered friends, a celebration shaped by the people who know them best, and the quiet, powerful meaning of finally getting married - surrounded by their nearest and dearest.

We took a gentle walk across the lane to the church, where so much emotion and tenderness filled the space. Then back into the sunshine for alfresco drinks, laughter spilling out across the gardens, and that unmistakable feeling of joy carried through every moment.

As the day softened into evening, golden light wrapped around us, it was time for a veil cocoon of dreams with my fave , at the top of the gardens. Dancing as the sun set, we returned indoors where the energy shifted into a packed dance floor and an evening that promised to continue well into the night.

A day full of shared histories, deep connection, and the kind of love and connection between two gentle souls that makes my heart beat harder. Pure joy, from beginning to end.

Chloe and Alexander; I will be forever grateful to have been by your side, capturing your beautiful story alongside you. Thank you forever for your trust.

Sunshine, sax, and those florals 💛

Oh what a day it was, when Alice and Neil married at Norwood Park on Saturday. A day wrapped in sunshine and the softest spring palette - yellows and blues woven through every detail, from the bridesmaids to the florals, fresh and full of life.

Alice in the most incredible full lace gown with delicate sleeves… effortlessly elegant, breathtaking from every angle. Hair and makeup perfection, the kind that doesn’t just look beautiful - it feels it.

Norwood Park at its absolute finest as always - classic, light-filled, and made for days like this. A sax serenade drifting through the afternoon, groomsmen bringing the energy (and the laughs), and Neil - smart, relaxed, completely in it.

Florals that felt like they’d grown there naturally - wild, artful, full of colour, texture and scent… truly something special.

And then - a flurry of white paper confetti (my favourite, always), golden hour doing what it does best, and a dancefloor ready to go off with the band as the sun dipped.

The kind of day that just flows.
The kind you never want to leave. ✨

Alice and Neil, thank you for your trust - it was an honour to capture your beautiful story with you.
