How can i feel sad saying goodbye to the piccachoo!! But I did, she’s been such a loyal and reliable member of the family for almost 17 years. From getting us to Cornwall for holidays, school runs, bringing home massive furniture from ikea, all of the family bikes on it! the list is endless of how versatile this car has been, always started first time even when once buried under 5ft of snow! Alas however she has too many repairs needed to stay safe and we needed to let her go! Goodbye old girl…. Well done this car has been bomb proof!

A moment last week with the relaxing of lockdown that allowed me and my beautiful girls to go somewhere quiet, to reflect and take stock of the things we have to be thankful for and sitting on this mountain top was a breathtaking reminder of the wonder of planet earth and its abundant and radiant beauty. 16 hours notice for their wedding due to the lockdown, and what a stunning day it was, it was a joy to be a part of it and capture some very precious memories.

My thanks also to the lovely staff at The Beverley Barn for being so welcoming and hospitable, and for allowing me to take your lovely sofa outside :-)

Hello Everyone....

In these uncertain days we find ourselves in and considering all of the government advice around gatherings and social distancing etc, I've made the decision to postpone my training calendar for the next 2 months.

For those that have paid refunds will be given this week and confirmed by email.

Using flash to create light..

A recent commercial shoot to highlight what flash can do when you're stuck. So I'm shooting a spring summer range of furnishings for a company, they want a summers day feel!!! in January!!!! You can see the challenge from the image top left.

So using an 18cm reflector and a full power Elinchrom Ranger placed high into the tree outside of the window to try and add a feeling of direct sunlight. A second light inside providing the fill into the shadowy areas of the internal scene.
Simple but the effects are clear.
