Todays wedding was very very damp

Imagine it - me and The Bec Edit trying to shelter from the torrential rain, under a tiny umbrella waiting for the bride to arrive at the church!

Gotta love a wet wedding day! 😂😂

As I left a wedding last week, I was given an envelope with a beautiful card.

At the time of leaving, the couple hadn’t even seen any images of their day!

Came home and felt absolutely made up and proud my couples feel this way on their special day!

With autumn fast approaching I’ve got a question for everyone:

Would anyone be interested in an autumn mini shoot either around Worcester or even perhaps the woods at Wyre Forest?

I’m yet to consider options of prices etc but just gauging interest.

Hello you lot!

So today is a big day for many.

GCSE results day.

Nerves. Excitement. Upset. An emotional day! But just a few words from me:

I didn’t do very well at school. Didn’t really enjoy it and wasn’t overly academic!

I didn’t get good GCSEs. But that’s not the end of the world.

Yes, it’s nice to have good grades but your careers choices & future isn’t just shaped by them.

I did rubbish. Yet I reflect on now!

I own my own successful photography business. Self taught. I’ve worked in the public sector and blue light world for years. I worked for large well known companies as a mechanic too!

I’ve made and continue to make safety critical decisions. I’ve impacted people’s lives - positively.

So, if today’s a sad day & your GCSEs weren’t what you thought, keep going.

Rub yourself off, smile and think, I can and WILL do it - because you CAN!

It takes hard work. A good work ethic & lots of determination. But it will work out! Be proud of where you’ve got to so far!

Lucy and Phil got married in Worcester at a very small and perfect morning!

Following the ceremony at the Hive, we walked along the river to Browns restaurant!

A great few hours with a great couple & lovely guests!
