I spent years being told my work was “too dark” and “too moody” for the traditional wedding industry. I co-founded the because I wanted to help couples find a home for their visions, but I didn’t realise I was actually finding a home for myself too 🥀

👇🏻Things I do that would probably send other photographers spiralling

✨I don’t treat weddings like transactions
You’re not a time slot. You’re humans. I care how you’re feeling, not just whether we’re “on schedule.”

✨I get emotionally attached
If you cry, I feel it. If you’re nervous, I clock it. If you have a quiet “oh my god this is real” moment, I’m already framing it.

✨I don’t disappear after gallery delivery
You don’t suddenly become “past client.” I like seeing your life unfold and I give clients a lifetime discount for future life events.

✨I will insist you take five minutes alone after the ceremony
And I’ll protect it. Even if it makes someone mildly annoyed. Your nervous system matters more.

✨I will protect you
If someone’s about to aim confetti at your face, I’m stepping in. I’ve joked about unflattering angles before. It worked.

✨I don’t believe professionalism requires emotional distance
Yes, I become friends with my couples. On purpose.

✨I don’t worship golden hour
I love it. But if it’s raining and dramatic? Even better.
