Half of my 2027 wedding dates are already gone… and I’m not sure I’ll ever get used to saying that.

I’ve been behind a camera for over a decade, but it’s been two years since I took the leap into wedding photography full time. What’s happened since then… I don’t take any of it for granted.

And the fact that I’m already having conversations about 2028, 2029 and even 2030 weddings? That genuinely blows my mind.

Every couple that books me is trusting me with something irreplaceable. Your story, your people, your moments that only happen once.

If you’re planning something alternative, something darker, more intentional, more you… now is the time to start securing your suppliers.

Especially for peak dates like autumn and Halloween, which are already filling quickly.

👇🏻Things I do that would probably send other photographers spiralling

✨I don’t treat weddings like transactions
You’re not a time slot. You’re humans. I care how you’re feeling, not just whether we’re “on schedule.”

✨I get emotionally attached
If you cry, I feel it. If you’re nervous, I clock it. If you have a quiet “oh my god this is real” moment, I’m already framing it.

✨I don’t disappear after gallery delivery
You don’t suddenly become “past client.” I like seeing your life unfold and I give clients a lifetime discount for future life events.

✨I will insist you take five minutes alone after the ceremony
And I’ll protect it. Even if it makes someone mildly annoyed. Your nervous system matters more.

✨I will protect you
If someone’s about to aim confetti at your face, I’m stepping in. I’ve joked about unflattering angles before. It worked.

✨I don’t believe professionalism requires emotional distance
Yes, I become friends with my couples. On purpose.

✨I don’t worship golden hour
I love it. But if it’s raining and dramatic? Even better.
