After a couple receive their images, I always love to do a little blog post about their gorgeous day. This one is LONG overdue but I think it's well worth the wait.

Do you remember the hotest day of the year last year? Well it's been etched in my memory! It just so happened to be the day Josh & Kate (Katy, Trav!) said the big 'I DO' on! It was quite possibly one of the hardest yet one of the best weddings I have ever shot, but it's been such a joy looking back on some of the memories of the day and have enjoyed looking through them without the sweat pouring from my brow!

I've lost count of how many weddings I've now been too but I can honestly say, I still absolutley adore going to them and I can gurantee a tear or two will be shed at some point throughout the day. However, I didn't just shed a tear or two at this wedding, a whole river of tears were shed! There were so many deeply personal, beautiful moments I witnessed throughout the day, some naturally happened but some as a consequence of the most creative moment I've ever seen in a wedding. The bride had written indvidual poems for each and every guest, hidden them in balloons and everyone popped these at the same time to read their notes. It was just so beautiful and provided me with countless moements to caoture the raw love and care this wedding party had for one another.

All this stormy weather has made me want to look back on some sunnier moments!

Why not join me in looking at a few snaps from a gorgeous wedding a couple of months ago. Charlie & Jon tied the knot at the fabulous Manor Hill House. They were keen to have their ceremony outdoors and although it was a little touch and go, the weather behaved itself and gave the couple their dream.

There were so many wonderfully personal touches throughout the day including their very best friend acting as the registrar for the ceremony! How cool is that!

Charlie & Jon, I wish you every happiness in your married lives together.

A beautiful bi-product of the awful time everyone’s had during the pandemic is, it gave us all the space and time to reevaluate what’s important to us.

This gorgeous gorgeous couple scraped the plans they had originally made and created one of the most magical days I have experienced. It really was a truly wonderfully intimate and special time.

I’m so looking forward to all of my ‘big’ weddings this year but for those of you who are thinking about maybe a smaller, slightly different style wedding, I’d encourage you to go for it! All you need is each other and your loved ones there to celebrate with you.
