Yesterday we had a visitor in Diglis, Worcester.

This curious Grey Heron came along the dock and had a very cinematic stroll in the rain with residents nearby taking this glamorous bird's pictures.

Besides their obvious star quality, grey herons are quite opportunistic feeders, and they won't hesitate to steal a fish from a fisherman if it's within reach.

There have been many reports of grey herons swooping down and snatching fish from fishermen's lines, or even landing on fishermen's boats and taking fish from their nets.

Of course, grey herons are just trying to survive, and they're not really trying to be mischievous. But it's still funny to think of a bird stealing fish from humans.

Pretty pretty Edinburgh, this city is such a mood.

The general architecture of the old town part of Birmingham is a mix of Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian styles.

Many of the buildings are made of red brick and feature large windows, ornate doorways, and cast iron detailing giving it that romanticised historical look.

Trying to stay awake today, much like this buck.

Deer are prey animals, so they need to be constantly on the lookout for predators. Sleeping with their heads up allows them to quickly scan their surroundings and wake up if they sense danger.

One of the most gracious and beautiful animals to walk the earth, the elephant.

Fun fact, elephants can communicate with each other using infrasound, which is sound waves that are below the range of human hearing.

Infrasound can travel long distances, so it is a way for elephants to communicate with each other over large areas.

Just a little tender giraffe moment, don’t we all need a cuddle sometimes?

Giraffes are often seen as gentle giants, and for good reason. They are known for their long necks and graceful bodies, but they also have a surprising amount of tenderness.

Necking is a behavior that giraffes engage in to show affection.

I love coming back to Bucharest and hitting all of my favourite old spots.
Despite the 35 C degrees heatwave we're experiencing, I braved through and made my way yesterday to this magical place.

Here you have the Carturesti Library located in the old City Center.
It is housed in a beautifully restored 19th-century building that was originally the headquarters of the Chrissoveloni banking dynasty. The bookstore has six floors, over 10,000 books, and a bistro on the top floor.

Would you ever visit this place?

This big guy lives at the city zoo in Helsinki what appeared to be quite a comfortable life. As I was taking his photos he was munching away at a few frozen bunnies tossed in his pool earlier on by the caretakers.

Unfortunately for Siberian Tigers captivity and breeding programmes are much needed as the species faces near extinction with only 400 left in the wild currently due habitat loss and poaching.

With recent efforts increasing to protect this giant, hopefully we can bring back our biggest cat to healthy numbers in the future.

Fun fact about Siberian Tigers, they are so big that they can't roar. Instead, they make a low-pitched grunting sound that is sometimes mistaken for a bear.
This is because their vocal cords are too large to produce the high-pitched sound of a roar. However, they can still make a loud growling sound that is just as intimidating.

This little buddy woke up early in the morning to catch a scrumptious breakfast and just look what a good hunter he is.

White wagtails wag their tails to communicate with each other. The speed and direction of the wagtail's tail can indicate a variety of things, such as its mood, its status in the hierarchy, or its intention to mate.

For example, a white wagtail that is wagging its tail rapidly and excitedly is likely to be feeling happy or excited and needless to say this little one was wagging away in delight.
