Sywell Classic - Pistons & Props Part 2 :–
Love this plane. What a sound, What an amazing experience to see in all its glory. Out of the 7,377 that were built, there are now only 2 airworthy Lancaster's left in the world. Lancaster PA474 was built at the Vickers Armstrong Broughton factory at Hawarden Airfield, Chester on 31 May 1945, just after VE day. The war in the Far East ended before she was deployed and she did not take part in any hostilities.

Kingfishers. Small unmistakable bright blue and orange birds of slow-moving or still water. Unfortunately I had not seen one for years not alone been able to photograph one. They fly rapidly, low over water, and hunt fish from riverside perches, occasionally hovering above the water's surface. I wasn’t able to get a shot of one hovering one but did manage to get these. Wow they are so fast!!

Wales, Talybont has a bit of everything – a canal, 2 rivers, a reservoir, hills, woods, waterfalls, wildlife, 3 pubs and a restaurant, Walks and campsites…. So who could resist going to take some river shots? Not me.
Was recommended a great campsite close to a river with great waterfalls. Hope you like what I shot 😊

Portraiture is very much out of my comfort zone…… But great experience. Great time at the Evesham Medieval Market. Everyone was great and all the re-enactment’s, stalls and people there were amazing.
