Hinckley and District Photographic Society

Hinckley and District Photographic Society We are a small and friendly group and can offer a warm welcome.

The club meets most Friday nights from September to May and the programme is made up of a mixture of competitions, demonstrations and lectures given by a mixture of members and external speakers. Whatever your current level of photographic expertise, it will cost you nothing to come and see what we do one evening.

At the risk of repeating myself...

The exhibition has been extended (again) for most of next week. If members have any work they would like to make available for inclusion in a refreshing of the display please bring them along to Friday’s meeting.

At the time of writing the list of entries is looking a bit short. Please forward your titles to the Comp Sec. I can’t do the paper work on Friday this week, so I really do need your entry details in the next 24 hours or so.

Not one but 2 pieces of news this week.

1. Tonight’s meeting will be the much anticipated Mix’n’Match competition against Earl Shilton. The visitors have won the last 2 encounters in this annual event so let’s get the membership out and give our plucky boys and girls the home advantage.

2. A surprise event - the Atkins Gallery has extended our exhibition until the 31st January. If you missed it this week now you have an extra week...
