Have you ever fancied going on a photography trip and then seen the price?
To find out more about the trips we do as a club do come along this Tuesday evening. Last March, 9 members of WPS went to Tromso in the Norwegian Arctic circle. Our goal was to see the aurora (which we did!) but we came back with so much more. Come and enjoy the photographs of a truly fabulous 4 days in Norway.

Just Wow! We have a real treat for members and visitors this Tuesday. Leigh Preston FRPS, EFIAP, MPAGB

"I have been taking pictures for over forty years. My work has been mainly thematic, making images as a series. I have a relatively specific approach to what I choose to make pictures of, and I rely heavily on atmospherics, dramatic lighting and strong storylines to convey an individual style. A lot of my personal work is taken either in isolated places or of buildings and landscapes that are well past their ‘sell-by’ date. A lot of my work is monochrome, using both digital and darkroom processes, depending on the ‘feel’ I want from the finished print"

How quick did that summer go? Well if you are looking to start that hobby of photography, our first meeting back at the Wolverhampton Photographic Society is next Tuesday. If you are around and would like to come along, we would love to see you. The week after (8th) we have Leigh Preston, an award winning landscape photographer, who should not be missed if at all possible.
Meeting Time
Tuesday evenings Sept to April
Arrival from 7.15 for 7.45pm Coffee break around 8.45-9.00 Refreshments included.
Finish approx. 10pm

Car parking is limited, so an early arrival or park on the road or free on the Sainsbury’s carpark.
