Part 3 of my “proof that you’re not awkward in front of the camera. Maybe you just need some gentle direction.” Series

Showcasing how my gently guided couple sessions are mostly about enjoying the experience. My couples go from “we don’t really know what to expect” to “omg that was so much fun”.
And we get to that with no stiff poses, no “what do I do with my hands” and definitely no performing for me.
We go at your pace and it’s so much fun.

No, you’re not camera shy or awkward in front of the camera. And no, it’s not about being photogenic either.

It’s about having the right photographer for you. During a couple session, my focus isn’t on just getting the perfect picture, it’s on the entire experience.

Gentle guidance will help you relax and enjoy being in the moment, rather than worry about that’s being captured.

That’s why it’s not a “couple photoshoot” but rather a “gentle guided couple session”.

It’s easy to say all this as someone who shoots short days and. Intimate guest list and therefore doesn’t come home with 5,000 photos to cull. But that’s also why I intentionally and exclusively shoot intimate weddings.

I shoot intentionally, which means I cull intentionally and edit intentionally.

I do work harder not smarter. But I love my process.
