One of the biggest worries new parents have before their newborn session is whether they'll have everything they need.

The good news is that I've already thought about all of that for you.

From beautiful wraps, blankets and baby outfits to a carefully curated wardrobe for mums, everything has been chosen to create timeless, natural photographs while making your experience as relaxed and stress-free as possible.

Newborn sessions are baby-led and never rushed. There is always plenty of time for feeding, cuddles and settling, and I'll gently guide you through every step, including family and sibling portraits.

My goal is for you to arrive, take a deep breath and simply enjoy these precious early days with your baby.

When you get to spend time soaking up the sunshine in the most beautiful place, you make sure you take in every moment. Meet beautiful Leo and his little Jellycat Peanut 🥜

When Leo was growing in mummy’s tummy, he was lovingly nicknamed *“Peanut”* — so of course, when he arrived, his parents had to buy him his very own little peanut companion. I love meaningful touches like this during newborn sessions; the tiny details that tell *your* story.

Those early days can feel like a blur of feeds, cuddles and very little sleep, but tucked quietly inside them are the moments you never want to forget — the way they fit in your arms, their curious little expressions, and the comfort they find simply being close to you.

These are the memories that matter.

Breastfeeding can feel beautifully instinctive for some, and incredibly overwhelming for others. If you are finding it harder than expected, please know — you are not alone 🤍

I’m so excited to be collaborating with the lovely Lucy from Surrey Breastfeeding, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), who offers expert, compassionate breastfeeding support for families across Surrey and the surrounding areas. Whether you are preparing to feed your baby, navigating those early newborn weeks, or simply needing reassurance and guidance, Lucy offers gentle, evidence-based support tailored to you and your baby.

Together, we are looking for up to 2 breastfeeding mums who would love to take part in a very special collaborative model call.

We are looking for mums who are currently breastfeeding and happy to be photographed in the comfort of their own home during a mini breastfeeding consultation with Lucy. The session will be 30 minutes and I will be capturing natural, relaxed photographs throughout the session to document this special season of motherhood and Lucy’s beautiful work supporting new families.

The images will be used across both of our marketing channels, so applicants must be happy for photographs to be shared online and in promotional materials. Images will be taken sensitively and thoughtfully, with flattering angles to ensure you feel comfortable throughout 🤍

As a thank you, selected mums will receive:
• A complimentary mini breastfeeding consultation with Lucy
• 3 beautifully edited digital images from the session

Date: Thursday 21st May
Location: In your home (Surrey and surrounding areas)

When should you book your newborn session?

The best time is after your 20 week scan. I only take a limited number of bookings each month so I can keep my diary flexible around due dates and give each family a relaxed, unhurried experience.

Your session is pencilled in using your due date, and once baby arrives we confirm the exact date — usually within the first 7–10 days.

If your baby is a little older, please don’t worry — I can photograph babies up to 16 weeks old in my signature, natural style.

Aria was just two months old when she first came into the studio – and she filled the space with the sweetest smiles from the moment she arrived.

Seeing her again for her first birthday session felt so special. Some things haven’t changed at all. The same bright eyes, the same sweet, giggly nature, and that same little smile that quietly lights everything up.

Being able to document these milestones – from newborn through to baby and first birthday – is such a privilege. Watching little personalities grow and families settle into their rhythm is what makes these sessions so meaningful.
