One thing I pride myself on it's providing a mixture of lifestyle and posed within my newborn sessions (unless clients particularly want just one or the other!)

It's not something you see both of together very often. It takes a very specific workflow structure to create and follow without overstimulating baby. Add in parents requests for specific special items to be included or particular shots they'd like to see - it takes real experience to ensure consistent results time and time again.

The result... just beautiful 🤍

I spent last week at the annual The Creative Recharge for female photographers. So many fantastic training classes accompanied by such incredible women that were all there to learn from one another and cheer each other on.

A few highlights:

👉I was honoured to receive second place for my work in the Newborn and Baby category as there were just so many incredible images.
👉Transformation circle with the beautiful The Liberty Lady who I could listen to forever
👉training with Clare Long Photography - Kent and helping her build a wreath for one of her setups
👉frolicking in a wheat field at sunset with friends

Thank You Jade Dowling-Asman for putting your all into it every year and creating such a safe space for us to celebrate each other ❤️

As a qualified newborn photographer with @, I have undertaken specialist training in newborn posing and safety, because creating beautiful images should never come at the expense of a baby's wellbeing.

This gorgeous pose is a perfect example. While it looks simple, it's carefully achieved with baby's comfort, natural flexibility and safety in mind every step of the way.
Beautiful photographs are important, but a safe, happy baby will always come first.

One thing I absolutely love about newborn sessions is carefully styling each setup with beautiful props and textures to create timeless little works of art

From tiny beds and baskets to delicate wraps, layers and little details like this sweet moon prop… everything is thoughtfully chosen and fully included within your session. No need to bring a thing. I’ve got it all covered for you 🤍

Double the cuddles, double the squishy cheeks… and somehow double the love

There is something so incredibly special about photographing newborn twins. The tiny details, the way they naturally settle together, and those sweet little connections they already share from day one

These two were absolute perfection throughout their session and created the dreamiest sleepy portraits together.

Can we also take a moment for those lips and chubby cheeks?!
