I'm Veronika and I'm thrilled to be your go-to Professional Maternity and Newborn Photographer covering all of Essex (UK). I bring the studio experience right to your doorstep, making it super convenient for you and your family. Before our session, just make sure you

've got a cozy space at home (around 2.5m x 2.5m) for my high end professional studio equipment and lighting setup. I hold an NCFE Award in Photography and come fully insured, DBS checked, and trained in Paediatric First Aid and Newborn Photography Safety. My extensive training with renowned industry experts keeps me ahead of the game. For me, photography is an art form that tells your unique story. I'm passionate about creating timeless images that you'll proudly display and pass down for generations. When it comes to photographing your precious little one, my classic studio style shines through. I curate each session with carefully selected, one-of-a-kind props and outfits in earthy, natural and pastel tones. Safety and comfort of your newborn are paramount throughout. One of the questions I’m asked most often is, “What if my baby won’t settle?” 🤍

The truth is, your baby’s comfort always comes first.

As a newborn photographer in Essex, I take a gentle, baby-led approach to every session. I carefully monitor your baby’s cues, allowing plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, and comforting whenever needed. There is never any pressure and never any rushing.

I keep babies warm, cosy, and secure throughout the session, creating a calm environment where they can relax naturally. Every pose is guided by your baby’s comfort and safety, because no photograph is more important than your little one’s wellbeing.

These early days are fleeting, and they deserve to be remembered with patience, care, and intention.

One of the most common questions I receive is: “How long does a newborn session take?”

The answer is simple—however long your baby needs.

My newborn sessions can last up to 3.5 hours because they are designed entirely around your baby’s comfort and wellbeing. This time includes feeding breaks, nappy changes, cuddles, soothing, settling, and plenty of opportunities for your little one to relax between photographs.

I never rush a newborn session.

Creating beautiful portraits is important, but your baby’s safety and comfort will always come first. Every pose, transition, and setup is done carefully and patiently, allowing your baby to remain calm and supported throughout.

A relaxed baby usually means relaxed parents too, which is why I create a calm, unhurried experience where the whole family can feel comfortable and cared for.

These early days pass by so quickly, and preserving them should never feel stressful.

If you’re expecting, I recommend booking your newborn session before your baby arrives, as I accept a limited number of due dates each month to ensure every family receives the time and attention they deserve.
