As women, we’re natural nurturers — but so often we end up being the one running the show, holding everyone else together while our own cup stays empty. Somewhere in the chaos of schedules, responsibilities, and being there for everyone but ourselves, we lose touch with our softness.
Lately I’ve been spending more time with women — old friends and new — and it brought something into focus for me: we have to carve out time to look after ourselves, and to look after each other. Just as we’ll never fully understand a man’s experience, no one understands ours quite like another woman does.
Generations ago, women lived in community — supporting each other daily, holding each other through the ordinary and the hard. That’s the feeling I want to bring back with this.
Returning to Softness is a guided outdoor portrait experience — part grounding meditation, part conversation, part portraiture — designed to help you set the armour down, even just for an afternoon, and be photographed as exactly who you are underneath it.
We’ll sit. We’ll talk. We’ll breathe. Then we’ll walk into the light together and let the camera see what’s true.
🌿 2–2.5 hours, in nature
