Sam and David booked an engagement shoot along with their wedding and we spent an autumn afternoon crunching around in the leaves and drinking coffee. I love this kinda shoot, just you guys fooling around, being yourselves and documenting what you love in a place that is special to you.

It turned out that we had loads in common and got nerdy chatting about cameras and films as well, always a winner!

Annie and Matt’s wedding was my first time at and my jaw dropped as we wandered deeper into the woods along a festoon lined path to find ourselves in a village of tents and tipis hidden amongst the trees

The whole day was beautifully down to earth with games, homemade cakes and florals with an evening spent toasting marshmallows around the fire deep in the forest. Annie and Matt wanted personal and relaxed and they absolutely nailed the atmosphere as they transported their guests into a cosy world between the leaves.

🍊 It Was Then That I Knew Love celebrates the love and immense bonds that we can develop and nurture, whether connected through blood or not. Although I have written many songs on the subject of adoption before, this one is perhaps the most lyrically-direct to-date. I am infinitely fascinated by the myriad decisions, circumstances and different paths that life reveals to us, and how each impulse and reaction to these has the potential to change the course of our futures.

CYANOTYPE WORKSHOP//

I held my first cyanotype print workshop yesterday with 6 lovely attendees who made some beautiful prints to take home and enjoy, I look forward to hosting the next one!
