Before becoming a photographer, I was a professional actor, presenter, voice over artist and vocalist. I have over 13 years experience in theatre, film, tv and commercial. I was also a children's entertainer and teacher - regularly entertaining hundreds of children in solo performances. I have always been a creative soul since a very young age and found people fascinating. Since becoming pregnant

and having my little girl, I knew I was ready to start a new creative venture. I wanted to create art through the lens! I wanted to reach people, but in a different way.

💣Truth is: I’m not child led.

I’m people led.

Which means, I see moments usually before they happen. I can guide a shot knowing the outcome.
I know that if I can build a warm and safe greeting with your children, then they will relax and be their authentic selves around me and my camera. And in turn, relax their care givers or parents.

I’m an energy reader. I can recognise the energy of the room or people Im around.

I can be a fly on the wall or part of the extended family!

Feeling reserved and need time to warm up? We don’t rush.
Excited and need to move the energy out? We run!

What ever the emotion, feeling, or vibe you or your family have, it’s never one I have not photographed before. I am well equipped and ready to roll with whatever happens in the time we have together.

We don’t push, we pause.

The only expectation is the unexpected.

Relax. I’ve got you.

📸 China Town Headshot Walk! 📸

This was such a fun morning! I was a little nervous but wanted to do something out of my comfort zone and be creative for creative sake. I got to meet lovely fellow photographers, who we could all feel relaxed around. We laughed, we fooled around, and we just snapped away and played.
These are just some of the snaps I got of these awesome ladies! I hope to do more of these headshot swap meet ups again.

🍁 Autumn is natures way of reminding you to let go 🍂

Let go of all that doesn’t serve you or correctly at least.
Let go of the Summer buzz and rush 🐝
Let go of cramming everything in.

Winter is coming and we need to take stock of slowing down and settling in.
Find the glimmers in the coziness. Candles, blankets, baths, slow cookers and jumpers are little hugs for our souls.

I know these are the ideals and it’s not always our reality in this day and age, but I hope you can find something in the “settling in” as much as you can.

I’ve had two newborn in-home sessions booked for this winter this past week. 🏡📸

In home sessions are fabulous all year round, although they tend to be most popular in the cooler winter months and for newborn sessions.

If you’re feeling your home isn’t looking it’s best and you’re not sure there’s enough natural light… you’ll be surprised what tricks a pro photographer like myself can do to hide, trick and embrace any location.

✨Been waiting for months for the right time to post this witchy vibe of a shoot!

This was such a fun and creative collobrative shoot.

Em creates beautiful, delicate and personal permeant jewellery. She’s also just started tattooing.
Along with Rae’s gorgeous hair and make up skills and eye for styling, we worked together to create something special. Then add two stunning models, hocus pocus! it was a match made in heaven! ✨

What started as one vision, turned into something completely different…. But followed all our own witchy, spiritual parts of our own personalities. The weather and beach was exactly what we had envisioned but we worked well with what we had.
