Before becoming a photographer, I was a professional actor, presenter, voice over artist and vocalist. I have over 13 years experience in theatre, film, tv and commercial. I was also a children's entertainer and teacher - regularly entertaining hundreds of children in solo performances. I have always been a creative soul since a very young age and found people fascinating. Since becoming pregnant

and having my little girl, I knew I was ready to start a new creative venture. I wanted to create art through the lens! I wanted to reach people, but in a different way.

👓If like me you weren’t quick enough to order in the correct and safe solar eclipse glasses, and are worried about the children looking directly at the sun… this is what I am going to try and do.

📱Turn my IPHONE onto SELFIE screen and look at the eclipse with our backs towards the sun and the sun in the camera screen!

Theres also the colander trick!

However, if you’re really not comfortable with the idea of your children not turning and looking directly at the sun, do watch the live viewing.

Faceless Photo sessions

I always ask whether you would be happy for me to share your images online- once whilst booking but also at the time of the shoot, and then again when I have a sneaky peek to share. I always triple check!

It’s becoming more common to not want to show children’s faces on social media.
Your privacy and personal wishes are paramount.

I wanted to show you that you can still share your beautiful love story without sharing a face.

As a family photographer who promotes her work online this is a tricky avenue I have to navigate going forward. How to show my work and story telling without using faces. And with my clients willingness, I’m welcoming the challenge to adapt my style of photography.

However, I have always added story telling images along side portrait images. Your gallery should set the entire vibe, the whole picture, the story of the adventure. Not just some pretty smiles.

I loved capturing this families summer with their new V Dubby. More shoots like this please!

Sharing your love stories is what I adore most 🥰

A year in waiting but we finally got to shoot together.

Believe me when I say, I am thrilled to be able to capture the seasons you’re in right now. It feels all consuming but it’s fleeting. It’s radical, and tiring but so incredibly special.

Back after a lovely trip to the Netherlands. 🌳🌲

Living by the coast for 4 years I thought I always needed to be by the sea, but I’ve realised trees are my biggest yearning more than water.

If you could ask me for one thing I could hold and cherish again and again for years to come…. It would be this. ❤️

Far beyond the tantrum stage, far beyond the nappies or sleepless nights, beyond their school years, and far out grown their childhood.

Memories of them little. The way they would fit under my chin. Their tiny hands holding mine. And the way they looked at me.

Memories of me as their world. ✨

This gorgeous family coming back to me for a third time. Trusting me with their stories, their chapters, and now they’re growing family. Thank you, always.

💣Truth is: I’m not child led.

I’m people led.

Which means, I see moments usually before they happen. I can guide a shot knowing the outcome.
I know that if I can build a warm and safe greeting with your children, then they will relax and be their authentic selves around me and my camera. And in turn, relax their care givers or parents.

I’m an energy reader. I can recognise the energy of the room or people Im around.

I can be a fly on the wall or part of the extended family!

Feeling reserved and need time to warm up? We don’t rush.
Excited and need to move the energy out? We run!

What ever the emotion, feeling, or vibe you or your family have, it’s never one I have not photographed before. I am well equipped and ready to roll with whatever happens in the time we have together.

We don’t push, we pause.

The only expectation is the unexpected.
