Southern Hawker Dragonfly

Canon 7D Mark ii with Canon 100-400 mk ii

1/250th of a second, F5.6, 278mm focal length, ISO 200

New camera's fast focusing system made this shot a lot easier to take and I used a slow shutter speed to capture the motion of the wings moving.

Kingfisher

This was the first time I had the opportunity to photograph these magnificent birds. I sat in the hide at Gosforth Park for an hour and a half before one showed up and stayed around a while. It was absolutely incredible seeing these beautiful birds diving.

The Deer In The Headlights

First time venturing out to Gosforth Nature Reserve. And what a day. Seeing the Roe Deer thrive here was definitely a beautiful sight.

White Water

St Mary's Lighthouse

Taken today as I battled between keeping my lens and filters dry and taking a long exposure, whilst the waves hammered against the rocks. Super happy to be getting back out and shooting landscapes again. 😊

Settings:
89 seconds, F13, I SO 100
10 stop ND, 2 stop GND and a polariser.

Shot on a Canon 500D using a Sigma 10-20mm lens.

Dinner Time

After laying down and patiently waiting for around 30 minutes (it definitely felt much longer) this rabbit walked straight in front of me and started chewing of some yellow flowers.
