Omg I absolutely hate these terns never want to see them again

Yesterdays trip to Inner Farne with Serenity Farne Island Boat Tours was epic i took a total of 15,247 photos it total (a touch heavy on the burst mode but it meant I got some wonderful frozen moments) I've now culled that down to about 700 plenty to be going on with.

The crossing was a bit boisterous due to some large swells, still managed to track a few birds in flight but feeling more than a little bruised today for it.

This is Rhys Unwin Photography here we were on our way back to the boat after touring the island for an hour, those arctic terns are vicious their long pointed beaks are really sharp, we both commented that a wool hat wasn't enough protection at the beak slips right through, luckily for me I has a hood on my waterproof. This was enough to stop the attack reaching my noggin. (Rhys had no such luck)

Cant wait for Saturday going over to the inner ferne island with and also meeting up with a fellow photographer Carl Readman Photography to go see some puffins if you haven't already go check Carl's page out he is absolutely incredible at wildlife he is a great photographer looking forward to it
