🪵🚨 JUST ENOUGH LEFT TO MAKE ONE MORE FRAME! 🚨🪵

This beautiful dark walnut real wood moulding 🤎🪵 has always been one of my most popular choices for puzzle framing, and I’ve got just enough left to make ONE more frame before it’s gone.

📏 I’ve got around 3 metres remaining, enough for most puzzles up to around 20x30 inches (depending on the exact size).

🧩 I frame puzzles regularly, and sometimes I can offer them at a much lower price when I’ve already got suitable moulding in stock. Other times I need to order fresh moulding in, which naturally costs more.

This one falls into the first category. 👍

🎖️ Bespoke Medal Shadow Boxes – Preserving a Legacy

Recently completed for a customer, these bespoke medal shadow boxes were designed to preserve a treasured portrait alongside significant personal keepsakes and memories. One display was produced at A3 size and the other at A4 size, both fitted with premium UV70 conservation glass to provide exceptional clarity whilst helping protect the contents for years to come.

Every layer, colour, material and detail was carefully considered between myself and the customer to create a presentation that felt both respectful and timeless. From the deep shadow box construction to the final layout, the goal was to create something worthy of the story it represents.

🌈 Remembering Billy-Jo 🌈

Some framing jobs are about much more than simply putting something in a frame.

Over the past few weeks I’ve had the privilege of working on a collection of pieces created to celebrate and remember a much-loved person. Every item was completely bespoke, with each one designed around the memories, interests and keepsakes that meant the most to the family. ❤️

This project included:

🖼️ Four large photo collages featuring hundreds of treasured photographs
📖 A custom photo album carefully assembled to preserve even more memories
🐴 A bespoke display case for a cherished horse whip, complete with personalised details and close attention to every element of the presentation
🌈 A memorial rosette display, preserved and framed to protect it for years to come
🪵 Handmade walnut shadow box frames, built in-house to display the pieces on the day and afterwards in the family home

Every frame, mount, print and detail was produced here in the workshop using quality materials throughout. The aim was never to make the pieces stand out for the sake of it, but to create something personal, respectful and lasting.

I always take pride in every job that leaves the workshop, but projects like this remind me that framing can sometimes help tell a story, preserve memories and keep special people close. 💛

🖼️ More Than Just a Frame…

This one has been a bit of a journey.

It started with a customer sending me an old image of the historic Parsons Cockles Factory in Laugharne, Wales. From there we spent weeks going back and forth with ideas, layouts, wording, fonts, colours and different design concepts until we got it exactly where we wanted it.

The moulding used on these has become a bit of a favourite for this customer as well. We’ve used it on a number of projects now and it just seems to work every time, especially with older photographs and local history pieces like these.

The aim was to create something personal that tells a story and means something to the person who’s going to look at it every day.

The matching frames help tie everything together into a collection rather than just individual pictures.

These are the jobs that take time. Plenty of thought, plenty of attention to detail, and something completely unique at the end of it.

Every job is different, and that’s exactly how I like it.

I don’t believe in “one style fits all” framing. Every piece is individually designed around the artwork, colours, subject matter and where it’s going to be displayed. Whether it’s a family keepsake, a holiday memory, an original artwork or something that’s been tucked away for years, I put a huge amount of thought into every frame that leaves the shop. 🖼️✨

Because everything is made to order and handcrafted here in Weston-super-Mare, lead times are currently stretching towards a couple of weeks on some bespoke jobs. ⏳

But the end result is always worth the wait. 👍

Nice early start here at CA Photography & Print this morning and there’s plenty happening today!

This is the guy who stole my Canon camera kit from my shop 17 37pm yesterday as I was closing up .
I’ve seen him around before, but not for a long time.

Items taken:
• Canon 7D Mark II
• Battery grip
• Canon 24-105 lens
• Canon 580EX II flashgun

Police have been informed and CCTV has been handed over.

If anyone knows who this is, his name, or where he’s staying/living, please message me privately.

A reward will be given for information that leads to recovery or identification.
