The power of the female body.

There’s something incredible about what a woman’s body is capable of.

Growing, changing and making space for a whole new little life. And while that little person grows inside her, an unbreakable bond is growing too.

Pregnancy isn’t always easy, and it doesn’t always feel beautiful while you’re living through it, but there is so much strength in everything your body is doing.

This is one of the things I love most about maternity photography. Capturing a woman exactly as she is in this moment - strong, beautiful and carrying the little person she’s yet to meet.

One day, that bump will be a memory. And I think that deserves to be captured. x

I couldn't choose just one of these photos to share because together they tell the story of a newborn session so beautifully. 🤍

Every baby is different, and no two sessions are ever the same.

Quite often babies stay awake for a little while when they first arrive, giving me the chance to capture those gorgeous little expressions and bright little eyes before they drift off to sleep.

Once baby has had a feed and a cuddle, I'll wrap them up nice and snug. Being wrapped helps babies feel safe and settled, and before long they're usually fast asleep.

With baby feeling settled and sleepy, I can then capture those beautiful sleepy portraits… and if we're lucky, we might even get a little windy smile too. 🥹

I never know exactly how a session is going to unfold, and that's one of the things I love most. I simply follow your baby's lead and capture every little moment along the way. 🤍

To celebrate the opening of my brand new studio, I’m gifting 3 complimentary newborn sessions to some lovely expecting mums 🤍

If your baby is due between now and July, I would love to hear from you. This is such a special, fleeting time, and it would be an honour to capture those very first days for you.

Each selected family will receive:
• A complimentary newborn photoshoot
• A 7x5 fine art print to treasure

Sessions will take place when your baby is between 4–14 days old, when they are still beautifully sleepy and curled up just as they were in the womb 💤

To be considered, simply send me a message with:
• Your due date
• Whether you’re expecting a boy, girl, or keeping it a surprise
