I was brought up on the Isle of Wight, where I spent a carefree childhood exploring the Island’s rugged countryside and coastline, spawning my love of wildlife and nature. My interest in arts and crafts also began early in life, heavily influenced by my grandmother, a professional artist, and my father, who was a keen amateur photographer and sculptor. I left the Island to pursue a career with Vir
gin Atlantic Airways, allowing me to indulge my interest in travel, people and culture. 27 years with Virgin have given me the opportunity to visit many and varied locations across the globe, from North America and the Caribbean to Southern Asia, the Far East, Australasia and Africa. Using photography as my chosen medium, I have been able to capture the rich diversity of the people and places I have encountered, specialising in portraiture, still life and, in particular, architecture and urban landscapes. Having secured a Professional Diploma in Photography while I have been furloughed, I have recently set up FlairFotography to bring my unique blend of photographic skills and experiences to a wider audience. Whether you are interested in acquiring any photos from my broad portfolio, or you’d like to discuss specific assignments you may have in mind, i would be delighted to hear from you.
