Reminiscing of this beautiful morning with the beautiful Hannah and her girls🤍 Hannah actually mentioned to me that a big part of why she booked me was due to my family photography work. Most people say that you must niche down in photography - either be a wedding photographer OR a family / maternity / product / brand photographer etc. However the reason behind me continuing with my portrait sessions outside of my weddings and continuing to post them on one feed is firstly - because I just LOVE my family & maternity sessions devotedly, and secondly, because they do beautifully intertwine together. The clients that I attract and love to work with want their wedding days to be focused on being surrounded by their families, the squeals of happiness from their children being there, the quiet smiling moments between their parents, the candid bouts of laughter with their guests. So whilst I do niche in weddings, and love every second, a big focus for me is to capture the family and children together on the day, in the most authentic and natural way I can🤍

Hannah, I’ll absolutely never forget that hug between us when you first came to the door to greet me! Just like seeing a dear friend - and you still are🤍 so much love to you ###x

Some love for the grooms!!🤍

Is it worth having a second shooter for your wedding day? I’d definitely say so!! Your main photographer can’t be in two place at once (I KNOW, outrageous🙈), so if moments like these matter to you, a second shooter makes all the difference. Plus you get a bigger, more diverse gallery, as whilst your main photographer is up close and personal getting those main shots, your second is taking images from afar - meaning different angles, wider frames and those all lovely guest candids that we love and adore🤍

I cover weddings in Dorset, Hampshire and Surrey, and this beautiful day was set in Wadhurst, East Sussex. And what a day it was!

It was such a pleasure capturing these for the lovely 🤍
