I have enjoyed a staedy stream of architectural photography over the last 8 years, both interior and exterior with a particular style which emphasises the drama of the angles, colours and skies. tography commissions include children at play shot in a reportage style, both in black and white and colour, but always to capture the real person, rarely staged or contrived. This extends through to events and the odd wedding. My personal photobag is exploring texture and colour, anything where the light and shade has a strong influence on the shot, reflections. Seascapes, particularly on the Scottish Isles hold a fascination, and the Island souls in work and leisure on the Islands. My absolute heroes of photography are Julian Calverley and Ian Lawson, the former with his wonderful dramatic style in the exploration of Island scapes, and the latter with his wonderful imagery depicting man and land in unison, and sometimes conflict.
