I literally cannot get over the fact, I was personally invited by gorgeous paper invitation by THE KING to Buckingham palace for a garden party. Like what is my life???

My journey with started in 2012. It all started, coming out of university, with a degree in Fine Art chasing my dream to be a photographer. My nan (who if you know me, was my fave person ever and if you got to meet her you were a lucky devil cause she was ABSOLUTELY MINT) pushed me to join the enterprise program when living with her which I went on a week long course and started putting my business together but then the world had other plans. I ended up pregnant and just continuing to use my photography as a hobby and love for years.
Then in 2020, after my first ectopic pregnancy, I had a little MH breakdown. I rang my nan and said “I’m going to do it I’m going on the course again (at the time, was Princes Trust) and I’m going to quit my job and be a photographer full time. My nan had always been so proud of me and wanted me to chase my dreams.

From there, I never looked back. I absolutely love my job so much. I love every opportunity it’s provided me with. Being the first person to win 2 awards the same year on the Kings Trust in 2023, just 3 years into being full time, capturing over 200 weddings, hundreds of goddess women, having my studio, being able to give back and help young people chase their dreams by giving talks, networking with some amazing people and now going to the palace.

I of course too my nan with me, around my neck. A lock of hair I had made into a necklace. Knowing how proud she’d be.

I want to say a special thank you to my first business mentor who has seen the whole journey from the front row, who’s supported me through the lows and the highs, who always shouts my name in any room she’s in and i am now lucky enough to call one of my most closest friends.

Thank you everyone in the Kings trust who’s believed in me and supported me. I will forever recommend every young person starting a business to hit you up. Because you do incredible work and I wouldn’t be where I was today without all the mentoring, learning and advice!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.......
I thought I'd just do a little HIIIIIII post and maybe even share a little bit about why I've not been around.
I kinda had a rough end of 2025 and even start of 2026 tbh. So I found a family member, who had died & had to perform CPR. And it wasn't expected and to be honest it's all been very traumatic. I don't think I have recovered from it to be honest. Because, it's not really something a lot of people have ever experienced or gone through. It's the unexpected that has affected me and what happened after it. Soooo since then I haven't really been in the mindset for socials because let's face it, who really cares? No-one. I've just been beavering away, through enquiries and keeping busy. To the point where I decided to completely renovate my house whilst Dean was at work haha. Yep, plumbing en'all. I've been very avoidant of socials and I just, can't, ummmm seem to care about them. I'm sorry about that.
So, yeah. I don't really know what the whole point of this post is? Maybe it's just oversharing and people will maybe, probably say I shouldn't. But I have always been open and honest on here and thought I needed to really address the elephant in the room.
With photography, I find a true happiness within it. Photoshoots inside the studio or outside of it, bring me a lot of happiness and calmness. I forgot a lot of what's going on inside my own head during them and the same with crafts and crochet. I have spent a lot of time escaping reality through making and it brings me so much peace.
But yeah, when I am not doing them it's different. Chasing the happiness and calmness is where I am at. So I'm so thankful for everyone who has had a photoshoot or booked their wedding with me lately, because it's meant the absolute world to me. Being able to escape myself to create magic for you, is forever a blessing.

A pre-wedding photoshoot is about so much more than just the photos themselves.

It’s a chance for us to meet, get to know each other and have fun before your big day arrives.

It gives you the opportunity to see how I work, how I capture people and how relaxed the whole experience really is.

By spending that time together beforehand, I’m no longer just another supplier turning up on the morning of your wedding, I’m a familiar face, hopefully, maybe even, a pal, a mate, a friend.

I always recommend a pre-wedding shoot because it helps take away any extra stress or nerves around the photography, which allows you to feel completely at ease and confident that photo's will be one less thing to worry about.

Capturing these isn’t about forced poses or staged smiles. It’s about storytelling, about shining a light on the day in a way that reveals its true heart.

These candid moments are the ones that, years later, will make you stop and remember exactly how it felt to live them.

Giving the world a middle finger and fully embracing who you are is one of the most freeing feelings you will ever experience.

It’s the moment you stop shrinking yourself to fit expectations and start standing tall!

As a woman, choosing to show up unapologetically is the most powerful declaration of self-worth. When you embrace yourself completely, you step into a confidence that can’t be shaken by outside opinions. It feels so liberating, energizing and soooooo empowering!

Stepping away as a newly married couple for photos on your wedding day doesn’t have to take forever in fact, just ten quiet minutes is all I will ever need with you!

It’s a rare chance to step away from the chaos to truly take in what’s just happened. Spesh if you haven't seen each other for a whole 24hours at least.

Away from the madness for you to look at each other and say, “Holy s**t, we’re married!” Those few minutes aren’t just about photos; they’re about grounding yourselves in the moment, soaking in the emotion, and creating a memory that feels intimate, real, and unforgettable.

Having great portraits of yourself is far more than just owning beautiful photos. It’s really an expierence which fully embraces self-acceptance, self-love and self-respect.

Having portraits of yourself captures not only how you look, but who you are, your story, and your worth.

When you allow yourself to be seen, celebrated and documented with intention, you begin to treasure your own existence in a deeper way.
Loving yourself in this way is incredibly freeing.

It helps quiets self-doubt and replaces it with confidence and compassion. From there life can start to open up for you. You step into a more abundant, fulfilled version of yourself, ready to truly grasp life by the horns and live it fully, boldly and unapologetically FOR YOU!

Photographing speeches is genuinely one of my favourite parts of a wedding day.

If your speeches are heartfelt, honest or even downright outragously hilarious, they create the perfect moments without your guests being even a little bit aware for the best candid photos.

Speeches aren’t a filler or a tiresome part of the day they’re important, emotional and give more insight into your as a couple for your guests. They give everyone a chance to feel something together and for people to feel like you've let them see into your relationship just a little bit more.

You can always tell in a gallery when the speeches were great, because you see every emotion your guests went through. From laughter to the tears. It’s those moments where people forget the camera is there, and that’s exactly when get real photo's of your guests.
