People often ask me if I’d photograph their wedding… and I always very politely decline!
Large crowds, dark churches, harsh midday sunshine, the pressure of having ONE chance to capture everything… hell no! Not for me🤣

Wedding photography is a whole different skill set to spending my days tucked away in a little home studio photographing tiny newborns, and I have huge admiration for the photographers who do it.

BUT… give me just one lovely couple, a quiet hill, beautiful evening light and a sunset and suddenly I’m listening… 👀🌅

So a couple of weeks ago, I tried my hand at a sunset couple shoot -Lots of laughing, cuddling, messing around and very little standing awkwardly smiling at the camera! Just a bit of time out for two very busy parents to forget about everything else for an evening and concentrate on each other.

Will I be adding weddings to my list? Absolutely not!! Sunset couple sessions though… I could definitely be persuaded to do more of these. ❤️
