I am a mum with two children, aged 12 & 15 and we live in a lovely rural village called Podington in Northamptonshire. My photography started as a hobby and friends would often say to me 'you should offer your skills and love full time', I invested in professional cameras and photography equipment and software, gained experience by photographing family and friends and attended numerous training co

urses, through enthusiasm, patience and hard work this is where I am today which I am very proud of.

My love of photography started as a young girl capturing family moments and happy times with our two border collies, I remember sending the 'film' in the post to be developed and waiting for a week or two with great excitement for the postman to deliver my prints, these being the only things we hold onto now of our childhood, back then we had no memory cards, no back up systems & no digital files, how times have changed!
​
I specialise in portrait photography - newborn, baby, children, families & also dogs, events and commercial, offering location and studio. I am a real country girl at heart and love where we live, we have open fields, accessible footpaths, countryside & single track pretty lanes which look beautiful all year round, whether you have your shorts and flip flops on or thick winter layers and wellies on a cold frosty morning, it's always a pleasure to see & never taken for granted. I love walking and we have a German wire haired pointer with lots of energy so he helps me keep fit! My favourite places to visit in the country are Cornwall, Norfolk, Cumbria and the Peak District, I often pack my camera to capture the local landscapes when on holiday.

These boys took their photography shoot all in their stride on a lovely summers evening walk around a lake last week. They are let's say entering their maturer years but you would never know it I was totally surprised at their age, great buddies together.

Dog photography can be just your dogs, walking, running or sitting, or as active as you wish and I always advise owners to be part of the images too so you have these memories forever of your four legged furry friends.

Just when I was so looking forward to Christmas mini sessions in November at this stunning location - Hinwick Hall, sadly not to be.

After the year we have all had I thought it would be great to offer you the chance to dress up with your family, wear sparkly dresses, Christmas pj’s , jumpers, onesies or even fancy dress, basically have some fun! Images could then be used for cards to send to family & friends 🌲✨

Let’s hope we may be able to go ahead in December in time for Christmas, stay safe everyone ❤️
