I saw 7 and a half hours of uninterrupted editing time 😂💻

And honestly, that’s the part of wedding photography people massively underestimate.

Shooting the wedding day is one thing.
But a LOT of the work happens afterwards.

Going through thousands of moments.
Selecting the photos that tell the story properly.
Editing every image so the gallery feels natural, timeless and true to the day.

That’s what couples are really investing in.

Not just somebody turning up with a camera…
But the hours afterwards spent making sure those memories are done properly 🤍

After photographing weddings for years, these are 3 things brides mention most afterwards.

1. Not giving themselves more time in the morning.
More time is always better. We all know what it feels like to be rushing around and not feeling 100% ready. Give up the extra hour of sleep for this one day… then you can actually enjoy it.

2. Not building at least 30 minutes together into the timeline after the ceremony.
Even if you don’t want loads of posed photos, it’s the perfect excuse to step away from the chaos and actually be together. We can take a few natural photos, or I’ll happily leave you to enjoy it.

3. Worrying too much about everything being perfect.
What feels perfect often changes as the day unfolds. You’ll want to look back on this day with happy memories, not remember how stressed you felt. Every couple says how fast it goes. Little things, even big things, might not go to plan… but stressing about them won’t help.

Someone once told me I’d never make it as a photographer.

There I am… baby faced with my first camera.
The first job of many to come.

It hasn’t always been easy.

For years, I put building my business and improving my photography first to get to this point.

Late nights editing on top of my 9–5 job.
Investing thousands into camera equipment.
Giving up weekends and time with friends and family.
Volunteering my time with Wrexham AFC and the England Amputee Football Team to learn and gain experience.

But I’d do it all over again to be my own boss, doing what I love 📸

I’ll guide you when needed, keep things relaxed, and make sure nothing ever feels forced.
